Chapter 31

Jade's pov

I'm running in the woods, I can hear someone running behind me but I don't know who it is. I keep running from whatever's behind me I can hear it really close to me. Every instinct in my body is telling me to run faster and not look back. I feel like I'm in a horror movie and we all know how those movies end. Going against my instincts I look back It's Emily. I looked forward just in time to see a tree root but I was too late to stop myself and I fell.

I get back up again before she can reach me.I can't seem to run fast enough she's gaining up on me.

" I'm going to get your Jade" she said with an evil laugh still running after me.

"JADE" I hear someone yell. Wait a second I know that voice it's Harry's voice.

I struggle to open my eyes but when I do I am blinded by the light of the sun.
"Hey how are your feeling" Harry says walking over to me."

I tried to speak but nothing came out of my mouth. I touched my throat and felt a bandage there.

" you might not be able to talk for a few days. She bit you pretty deep." Harry said inspecting my bite mark.

" we'll Patricia's been waiting for you to wake up. Do you want me to bring her in?"

I nodded really fast. Harry chuckled and got up walking out of the door. In a split second Patricia was in my room. " hey jade I missed you soo much. Don't ever do that to me again." She said while hugging me really tight. I let out a chocking sound and she pulled back. " sorry" she spoke apologetically.

" soo" she said cutting the awkward silence. " did you want to stay in bed all day and watch movies" she asked me. I nodded and she stood up to put a movie on the tv. " I'll be back I'm just gonna get some popcorn" she said before dashing out of the room, using her vampire speed.

I looked back to the tv and saw that she had put on Angus, thongs and perfect snogging. I laughed slightly as it hurt my throat.

Patricia's pov

I'm in the kitchen now making popcorn. I can't wait to spend some time with my best friend. I thought that I actually lost her.

I don't think I could live without her I've known her forever. I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around my waist. The sparks that I feel tell me that it is Niall.

" hey what are you up to?" Niall said into my ear, as we both watch the popcorn pop. " we'll I thought that me and jade could spend some time together and watch a movie. " well that sounds like a good idea. Me and the boys are gonna head off soon so that we can record some tracks for our album." Niall Said before kissing me on the lips and leaving the kitchen.

God I love that boy.My thoughts are brought to a halt as the microwave starts beeping ,signalling that the popcorn is ready. I grab the popcorn out and run upstairs. " hey Jade I have the popcorn" I say to her. She replies back with a smile and pats the bed next to her. She moves over making room for me to lay down and watch the movie with her.

The movie starts and I just think about how lucky I am to have a friend like her.
