After we Skyped my dad, we had supper. We had homemade mac n cheese, and it was really good. Cam enjoyed it too. After, we went up to my room because he hadn't seen it yet. I had posters and merch everywhere. He looked so amazed at how much band merch I had in my room. He plopped on my bed and smiled. I jumped on beside him, and threw the TV on. "Girl Code" was on. He told me that his mom and dad were die-hard Christians, and when he started to wear darker clothes and straighten his hair, they told him that he'd either dress normally and go to church, or he'd have to buy his own clothes, food, bed, and anything else he wanted. He said he went weeks without a bed and more than 3 shirts and jeans, and that he had to find a job to survive.
I hugged him tighter than I ever had.He continued about how he almost starved one day because his parents ate his food that he bought. So, to not go hungry, he ate their food. He looked me dead in the eye, and said, "You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I know I've been hurt in the past, but none of that matters now that I'm with you. You've shown me what real love is, and I don't ever want to lose you." I brushed my hand on his cheek, and pulled his face to mine. I kissed him and put my hands around his neck. I pressed my forehead against his, and looking him in the eyes, said, "I'll never leave you. I will make sure you never have to go without, and I'll be right beside you. No body will break you."
He smiled and closed his eyes, tears starting to roll down his cheeks. "No one's ever said that to me before. I knew I made the right choice." I start to cry too. We both sit on my bed in each others arms, crying onto each others shoulders. I don't think we've hugged each other tighter. I bring his head off my shoulder and kiss his forehead. He starts to cry even harder. I hold his face in my hands, and wipe away his tears. I grab him a Kleenex, and he takes it. I go grab his bag and bring it to him. I say, "Get your pj's on, I wanna snuggle with you." He said, "I haven't been able to afford pajamas yet, I usually sleep in my boxers. Are you okay with that?" "Yeah, I'm fine with that. I'll just put mine on and I'll be in bed." I went to the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, and put my pajamas on. I come back to my room, shut the light off, and get in bed. He hugs me from behind, and whispers, "I'll never let you go," before falling asleep soon after. I reach over, set my alarm, and snuggle into his chest.
