Today was the typical first day of school: I had to introduce myself, which was really hard for me. Speaking in front of people isn't one of my strong suits. I was sweating and shaking so much, I almost collapsed each class. I sat outside to eat lunch because I didn't want to test my limits. All I could think of was Cam all day. He was in the hospital without me, and I was here without him. My dad came to get me from school, and on the ride home, He asked me, "So, how was your first day at school?" I lied a bit and said, "It was alright after you yelled at those boys. They deserved it." He started to smile and kissed my forehead. We pulled into the driveway and went into the house. I dropped my bag by the door, looked in the living room, and saw the smile that lit up my day.

He stood up, and ran to me. I wrapped my arms around him and he tried to pick me up. He tried, but he couldn't get me up off the floor. We started laughing and we sat back down on the couch. My mom came into the room and started giggling. Emma came down the stairs with a guy that had looked very familiar. I saw Cameron's face go from delight to pain. Then it hit me. That guy was Nate. When my dad saw him, he was livid. I saw my dad's face go as red as a tomato. Nate started backing away a bit. He screamed, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Nate ran out the door.

He turned to Emma. He tried to calm down, but he was having trouble. He said as nicely as he could, "Is your apartment ready yet?" She responded with attitude, "Yeah, why?" "Pack as many bags as you can in 5 minutes and get out. I don't want to see you for the rest of the day. You can come back later for the rest of it later, but for now, I just want you out."

Cam's face was turning white, so I sat down with him on my lap. He snuggled right in to my chest. I kissed his forehead, and he grabbed my shirt and squeezed it. I lean my head down to his ear, and whisper, "What's wrong, babe?" He manages to get out, "Can we go to your room?" I can barely pick him up, so my dad carried him. He placed him on the bed, and I sat beside him. He started crying and tried to claw at his arms. I grabbed his hands, and she squeezed my hands until they felt like they were gonna break. He let go and started shaking. I put him on my lap, and wrapped around me like a koala bear. He gestured toward his bag shakily. I grabbed it and threw it on the bed. I knew exactly what he needed. I started throwing his clothes all over my floor. At the very bottom, I found his pill bottle.

I hollered down, "Mom, could you please bring Cam up a glass of water and a snack?" I read the pill bottle. He was prescribed Zyprexa, a medication for schizophrenia.
