Ah, the life of a princess. So fun and care-free...yeah right. In your opinion nothing was more of a pain in the ass than holding your position. Everyday it was the same routine: have your studies, discuss politics with other officials, adress troubling situations that were worrying your subjects then ho to bed only to repeat the same steessful mundane pattern. And now that you were getting older, only more irritating matters had to be discussed. That matter being, finding a suitor.
Thus explains your current perdicament. At the moment you were close to blowing your brains out from the sheer boredom this possible suitor was emmiting. You sighed, picking at your meal imagining living a far more dangerous life with far more interesting people.
"Princess," a voice called, snapping you out of the daydream.
You looked to where the voice was, and peeking their head in the large dinning room was an attendant.
"Yes?" You ask
"There's um a situation that needs your guidance" he reports
Oh thank god, I can get out of this early you thought.
Quickly rising from your seat you gave the suitor a forced smile.
"I am ever so sorry but I am needed. My most sincere apologies em....what was your name?"you ask
"Suhail" he says dryly, realizing you had paid no attention to him what so ever.
"Ah, right. Now if you excuse me, I must be off" you say sweetly, floating gracefully out of the room until you were in the hallway. You let out a sigh of relief and chuckled.
"Heveav you are a life saver, I was just about ready to die from absolute boredom" you smirk.
The older attendant who was escorting you smiled and shook his head
"Princes (yn) you sre horrible" he laughs quietly
"So what was I needed for anyway?" You ask
"An old friend of yours decided to stop by. He goes by the name Han Solo?" The man said a little uncertain.
"Back already is he..." you mutter to yourself, a smile sneaking its way to your lips.
"Princess, if you dont mind me asking...how do you know such a lowly smuggler?"
You just smile "lets just say me and Han go way back"
As soon as Heveav exits after guiding you to where the Millenium Falcon was being kept, you ran to Han and gavw him a hug.
"Han Solo you dirty bastard, its been to long" you laugh
"Hey now I didnt know princess had such a fowl mouth" he teases
You roll your eyew "so what brings you here?" You ask
He was about to answer when a voice hollared from inside the ship
"Hey Han the wires are pretty fried" the new voice called, emerging from the falcon. It was a boy with shaggy light brown hair and blue eyes, as soon as you saw him your pulse increased.
And when he saw you, he stopped mid sentence "who is this?" He asked walking up to you.
Han smirked at the younger boys reaction "Luke Skywalker, meet Princess (yn) (ln)"
"Its a pleasure ti meet you Luke, welcome to my planet" you grin, bowing your head slightly.
"I-its a pleasure  m-meet you too" he stutters out
You chuckle and turn back to Han "so you were gonna answer my question?" You ask
"Ah, right. The falcon got banged up and I need somewhere to stay while we do repairs. And I was hoping you could hook me and Luke up with that place to stay" he says, scratching the back of his neck.
"Why of corse! we shall have a feast for your arrival" you smile.
"I like the sound of that" Han smirks
Through the days that the two stayed with you at your palace, you and Luke grew inseprible. The two of you truly enjoyed eachothers company and you couldnt help but develop feelings for him. The way he laughed and talked about his adventures, the way his lips couldnt help but curve up into a smile when he talked about something he was passionate about. The adorable way his brows furrowed in irritation when Han messed with him.
Thats why it pained you so much on the day of their departure. Unknown to you, Luke's heart ached just as much. During the final hour before their take off, Luke took you to the side.
"(Yn)...I-I love you, and I know what Im about to tell you may sound crazy but you do crazy things when your in love...so I ask you....to leave with me" he says softly, grabbing your hand and running his thumb along it,
"L-luke, my heart is overwhelmed with joy jniwung you love me back but..,I csnt just leave! I-Im the princess I have responsibilities!" You say
"Yeah, responsibilities you hate! This isnt what you were made for (yn), you deserve to be free. I want to be the one to open up the galaxy for you and be the one to set you free. No one needs to know. We leave tonight, you could slip away in the dark and leafe this all behind" he begs.
"You really want that? You really want me to be at your side?" You whisper, touched by his words.
He presses his lips to yours in a sweet but passionate kiss.
"More than anything in the galaxy" he replies.
You smile widely at him.
"Then tonight, Princess (yn) takes a permanent vacation" you smirk
Lukes face lights up in excitement and he presses another kiss to your lips.
"I'll be waiting for you" he smiles.
"I'll be there"
