Day Seven

Mabel received another video tape and she sobs into a cop's shoulder as he awkwardly pats her back.

Cherry, Mabel, and the police have watched videos of Carson being tortured. Everyday they received these videos and the police try to track where they were took, but to no avail.

Cherry settled next to Mabel on Mabel's love seat while two police officers each sat in a chair. Another one puts in the video tape and Mabel clutched her daughter's bestfriend as the video began playing.

Carson was in a room. He cut her, made her count as he did so.

But the worst part to Mabel, Cherry, and even the police surrounding them was when all hope left Carson's eyes as she was told about the camera. Mabel's body shook with sobs and her grip on Cherry's shoulder tightened. Cherry watched with silent tears as her bestfriend lost all hope.

Her bestfriend didn't look dead after she was burned with various pieces of metal. Her bestfriend didn't loose hope when she was cut and hit.

Cherry's bestfriend lost hope and looked horrible only when she knew that her family and friends were hurt.

Cherry cried as Mabel did when they realized a big fact.

Even at her worst, Carson cared more for others than she did for herself.

Mabel saw a police officer leave the room as his shoulders shook. Soon, others followed.

They knew it too. Carson was too good for this world. But that didn't mean she should be tortured or taken from it.

Cherry heard Carson's voice loud and clear, but her eyes widened at Carson's harsh but understandable words;

"You're absolutely crazy. You have no heart. You are no human."

Mabel gasped but it wasn't because of Carson's words.

It was because when Carson said that, Nathaniel pulled his fist back and swung at Carson so hard that you could hear a loud crack sound even though the video didnt have good sound quality. Carson's nose immediately started pouring blood and it got everywhere.

Cherry and the cop's that had stayed in the room watched as she slowly lost consiousness.

But before she did, because Carson was a strong, stubborn girl, she bravely spoke to her kidnapper as she past out from one of his hits.

"You'll get what you deserve," she whispers, but it's loud enough for it to be heard.

"They always do."

Carson may not have hope for herself, but one police officer named Erin knew, she had hope that Nathaniel Thomas Jim Lee would never hurt another being again.

Erin believed this, too.
