Kyo's POV

I decided that for our date we would go to the beach. Simple, I know but I have to go set up... something...

I ran to the beach and set up my little surprise. Since his beach is deserted it will most likely only be the two of us which I have no idea why it's deserted it looks perfectly fine to me.

When I got there the sand hadn't moved a millimeter at all. That's how windy it is.

I took a long stick and started to draw a heart shape with it and in the heart I put the words "I love you."

I drew a cat and a rice ball on the right side of the heart. I grabbed the bucket that I brought and put dry sand in it from a few inches away from the heart. I went over to the ocean and put water on the sand and headed back to the heart. I out-lined the drawings with the wet sand just in case the wind started to pick up.

I set up a large umbrella and placed a blue blanket down.

I grabbed my picnic basket and placed it right on the dead center of the blanket.

I looked at the gift I got her and it made me both excited and anxious.  I mean sure, it's just a promise ring but... Who am I kidding? This is a big deal.

I saw the black car that Hatori is taking Tohru in and I quickly hid the ring. Hatori got out, opened Tohru's door for her and she was blind folded as I asked Hatori to do.

I walked over to her and took her hands.

"Hey Tohru."

Her poker-face turned into a huge smile, causing me to smile as well.

"Hello Kyo."

"Thank you Hatori."

"No problem, call me when you want to be picked up." He walked away with his usual straight face.

I guided Tohru in front of the heart and untied her blind fold.

She gasped in surprise, starting to tear up in joy.

"Oh Kyo this is wonderful! I love you to."

"Thanks, are you hungry?"

She nodded a yes with a big smile still plastered on her face.

We walked over to the umbrella. I set up our plates and we ate, laughing and obviously talking. (Kinda can't do one thing w/o the other am I right)

We finished eating and the sun was setting.

Perfect timing...

"Tohru..."

"Yes?"

I took out the box and placed it in her hand.

She opened it and gasped.

She opened it and gasped
