The prolonging ache in my chest made it nearly impossible to do anything. Back to the heartbreak I thought to myself as the rain patted against my window, if he truly loved me why would he leave me? For my safety even though I felt safe with him, now I just felt vulnerable. I heard the front foot unlock before my bedroom door swung open. Sky moved to sit on the edge of my bed before I broke apart and clung to her, sobbing into her shirt. She smoothed my hair down before glancing back to Frosty who had his hands shoved into his pockets.

"Bronx is just scared, he tries to push his feelings aside so it minimizes the chances of being hurt." He explained before kneeling down beside Sky. I moved back to wipe the tears from my face, muttering apologizes to Isabelle for staining her shirt with my pain. Even though she managed a smile I could tell she hated to see me upset which made me feel ten times worse. I glanced over her shoulder to see Bronx just standing there, the pain in my chest intensified leaving me out of breath. Frosty and Sky left to give us privacy, I pushed myself back against the wall to bring my knees up to my chest.

"You can come..." I hoarsely said to him, he shuffled closer to my bed as he inspected the damage he had caused.

"Why are you here? To apologize? If so save it, I'm never ever accepting anything from you so how about you just walk out that door and leave my life so I can heal and move on." I shouted at him before I began to sob once again, Bronx remained silent as he edged closer to take a seat on my bed, upon meeting his gaze I wanted to lose myself in however I couldn't bring myself to move nor would I let myself ever be hurt by him again.

"We need each other, our second break up and I still find myself being drawn back to you. Please I miss my girlfriend." He reached out to me but I moved away.

"I don't need you, I won't allow myself to be hurt like this again." I turned my stare to the window silently begging him to leave.

"No! This is it, I'm prepared to give you everything. No more bullshit or doubts, just you and me. I'll even marry you to show how serious I am, I can't look at anyone else because all I want is you." Technically this is the point where I'd look at him and fall back into his arms in forgiveness, this time I wasn't even moving barely acknowledging his existence. Bronx leaned across my bed to gently move my head to meet his gaze.

"Don't make me beg." He whispered softly, trailing his thumb along my bottom lip, I shivered under his touch and desperately fought the erge to kiss him.

"Just leave Bronx." I huffed as he moved closer to me to restrict the distance between us.

"One month, we've been apart for one month and I need you, I want you." His fingers danced up my thigh before he positioned himself in between my legs. Goosebumps covered my arms and legs when his fingers triggered another shiver as they moved underneath my shirt. Taking a deep breath I pushed his hand out from underneath my shirt to stare into his beautiful eyes.

"You don't get to come in here and tell me shit than except me to have sex with you. I've changed Bronx so maybe you should as well." I told him watching the lust built up in his eyes, the list I desperately wanted.

"Small steps, I'll show you I have changed that I'll put you before anyone." His breathing became sync with mine before brushing his lips against mine.

"Forgiving you is the biggest mistake." I muttered against his lips, he shifted between my legs that made me relax against him. His kiss was soft and delicate to begin with as it progressed to a fiery passion. Knocks ran against my open bedroom door that made Bronx stop to glare at Cole who awkwardly stood there.

"Gavin gave us the tip off, inform her on the way there, we most likely will need her tonight anyways." He stormed back out the house.

"What just happened between us proves nothing." I frowned as Bronx stood and nodded. I dressed quickly before getting into Coles car to head off to our destination.

***

Bronx informed me that in the past month, they had infiltrated Rivers warehouse to uncover hidden plans that involved the Hazmats. We were on our way to meet with some guy that was going to give us Intel to find out what River was really up to. Getting out of the car we all entered the apartment building and went to the room that was given. Cole knocked on the wooden door three times before an elderly man opened it.

"You Gavin's friend?" He feebly asked Cole who just nodded in reply. He moved aside to let us into his confined apartment.

"I can't tell you much however tonight the man your looking out for is quite tall, dark hair. You'll know when you see him. He should carry a key in his back pocket which unlocks Rivers apartment."

"Since when did River have an apartment?" I questioned but was hushed by the old man.

"This is the location and River should not be home between 7-9pm." He handed Cole a piece of paper with the address. We thanked the old man for his help before heading back to the car. On the drive home I shuffled uncomfortably in my seat.

"So, why do you need me tonight?" I asked Cole who was concentrating on the road ahead.

"Your going to lure the guy in and get the key, Frosty will be waiting nearby so you can hand him the key undetected." He pulled into the driveway and cut the engine. It was like I never left, the lounge room was spotless as usual and the boys started to gear up. Serena and Sky dressed first before helping me decide what to wear. I slipped into black skinny jeans and a mid riff hoodie before applying my makeup delicately and to style my hair so it fell down my shoulders even though my hair hadn't grown much and the silver still remained at the tips. Slipping my shoes on I was ready to go meet the boys downstairs who were discussing the plan again. Bronx glanced over at me before giving me a nod.

"Let's get this over with." Cole dismissed the meeting and headed out to his car. Taking only two cars was easier except for the fact I was stuck with Bronx.

"Not nervous?" He inquired, I shot him a glance before focusing on Coles car in front.

"No just want everything to run smoothly." I stated biting the ends of my fingernails to distract myself. Getting into the club, we followed Cole upstairs so we could have a seat that surveillance the ground floor. For the first ten minutes I was doubting the guy would show until he walked in and glanced around the dance floor. I took a deep breath and rose to my feet to walk down the stairs, my gaze remained on my target as he stared straight at me. Once at the bottom I pulled my hood over my head and darted slowly through the crowd of dancing people, circling around I reached the guy and distractingly ran my fingers along his shoulder blades before disappearing again. I neared closer a second time to face him head on. With his gaze stuck to me I removed my hood to stare into his eyes as he indulged in my features. Stepping closer I ran hand down his chest and wrapped my arms around his hips to pull him closer. As our lips barely touched I swiftly fished out the keys that were indeed in the pocket they were suppose to be in. I hooked a finger underneath his jaw before Frosty brushed up against me, I felt his hand brush my own before I dropped the keys into his hand. With my job done I turned away however the guy wasn't going to let me go that easily. He gripped my wrist tight and pulled me back, I swung around and punched him square in the face before darting out the front entrance. Cole and the others had taken off due to our opening was rapidly closing as it neared 8:15pm. Climbing into Bronx's car he sped off down the road following the instructions Cole gave him. The apartment wasn't that far away and didn't take us long to be reunited with the others.

"I give that performance 10/10, see I would of done it but Cole wouldn't let me dress up, said I'd look shocking in a wig." Frosty joked as he searched the cabinets on the far side of the room.

"What do I look for?" I asked as Cole spun around to face us.

"You keep a look put in case River turns up, Bronx hack into his computer files and download anything useful." He ordered, I huffed as I stood by the window peering through the curtain, I checked my watch frequently until a car pull up.

"Guys cut it short, he's here 20 minutes early." I shouted out as River entered the building. Sky pulled the window up on the other side of the room and climbed out the fire escape. The others soon followed before I heard the key being inserted into the lock. Swearing under my breath I slammed the window shut and shot a quick message to Cole saying I'd give him time to get out of the area, I looked up from my phone to see River staring at me.
