Ember: A New Beginning

Testing

Joanna woke me and told me to get up and wash my body. so I did. when I got out of the shower Joanna had me put on a robe kind of thing. I didn't like it. It was itchy. She then lead me to a room with doctors. They scanned me and asked me questions. "So Ember" said the first doctor with bleach blonde hair "How old are you? And have you had any sexual experiences before?" "Well" I said "I'm 13 and no I haven't had any experiences." "Ok. Can you run for us?" he asked. "Why?" I questioned. "We have to see how your body does when running." he said. "Oh ok." I said as I got up. when I ran I felt like I was running on air. It felt good. "Ok Ember please take a seat for me." The nurse told me. Breathing heavily I sat back down on the table seat thing. "Now we'll test how you breath." the doctor said. they testing how my slow breathing was and how my fast breathing was. "Ok that's all the testing well do for today. Ember is very good in health except the fact that she is severely burned." The doctor told my nurse. "Ok I'll make sure she'll get plenty of rest." Joanna said as we walked out of the room and into mine. "I thought that was going to be different." I said . "we'll not everything is how you expect it." she stated. "yup I know how that is." I said. Staring at the floor
