It is raining heavily outside the coffee shop where Abigail is waiting.

Her rounded expressive eyes wander the old interior of the place. The smell of wooden tables and chairs, orchids placed on the white slim vase as a centerpiece and the white paints on the walls that are fading.

Staring for almost an hour at her favorite blend of coffee that has seemingly lost its warmth, her eyes almost watery want to cry.

Rubbing her hands to lessen her anxiety, clearing her throat calming herself down to lighten her foreboding thought.

"ito na nga kaya ang tamang panahon?" ~ Abi

He drives fast as if his life is not of importance.

Manoah parked his car in front of the old coffee shop. Smoking a cigarette and stepped out, he looked up and felt the heavy raindrops pouring at his face.

A man went inside the restaurant. His feet are all wet and muddy.

Each step he makes are synchronous to Abigail's heartbeats.

He sat down on the opposite side of the table where Abi is sitting, facing her, letting his black hood down.

He light up another cigarette and stare fiercely at Abi's eyes and said

He looked as if he's not taking good care of himself. His hair is unkept, he had grown a stubble and he is wearing a rugged clothes and most importantly, he let his feet be wet and muddy. For Abi, how can this be?

It's also a mystery that Manoah soaked himself under the rain because it is one of his pet peeve, the rain.
