Stuck in An Ending Eternity (A Wholock Fanfic)

Chapter Two

"Oh no, no, no, no! The TARDIS is dead! Gone! Dead! The flux isn't working!" The Doctor's mop of hair flopped in his eyes as he scrambled around the rugged TARDIS controls.

"What do you mean that TARDIS is dead?!" yelled Amy, who was still holding on for dear life.

"I mean, it's dead!" cried the Doctor. "We're crashing! GERONIMO!"

"Why isn't Watson with you?" questioned Sally Donavan. Sherlock Holmes had just arrived at a murder victim's house, and now the police wouldn't let him in. "Aren't you two like, a dynamic duo or something?"

"And aren't you supposed to be working? Now shut up and let me in." Sherlock glared at the lady, ignoring her question. The detective had lied about Watson's whereabouts, saying he stopped working with him. It was stupid, he now thought.

Sally's eye twitched and she finally broke. Sherlock knew she'd always secretly admired him for his...work.

"Resurrected freak is here. Bringing him in." Sherlock smiled triumphantly as Donavan spoke into her walkie-talkie.

She led him into the house, that was lavishly decorated in police 'DO NOT CROSS' tape. People were scrambling around, trying to find anything that will help them find the murderer. The consulting detective gazed about as his trench coat flapped around his ankles.

"What does the murder look like?" He knew it was a useless question, because the police were always wrong.

Sally bit her lip. "Urm, you'll have to ask the people from UNIT. Not us."

Sherlock chuckled. "UNIT? That silly organization that hunts aliens?"

"I really wouldn't say that around here, Freak."

"No matter. Just show me the dead body." he asked eagerly. What was UNIT doing here? They usually never messed with Scotland Yards' affairs. Or Sherlock Holmes's affairs. Most people tended to steer clear of those.

Sally Donavan led him up a winding staircase. It reminded him of the Pink Lady's house... A Study In Pink, John called it on his blog. Hadn't Holmes once said he would be lost without his blogger?

Where, then, does that mean he is now?
