Mistakes Happen

A Note From The Author

I doubt anyone will read this part but I felt the need to write it because I want to make a few things clear.

First off, this story does involve Emma getting pregnant out of wed lock and by way of cheating. I don't condone either one of these things, any of the story that touches on those subjects is intended to discourage it without judging. The title is "Mistakes Happen" because they do. People mess up and I wanted to get across that just because we do, it doesn't always make us bad people. My intention, however, was not to glorify those things.

Secondly, though Emma is pregnant in this story, the story is not about her pregnancy. The pregnancy is simply an event that pushes Emma to address some feelings that she's been pushing down and those feelings are the thing I chose to focus the plot on. It will be from her point of view only.

Third of all, this is a clean story. There is mentions of the two of them sleeping together for plot purposes only. No smut. So if that's what you're looking for, don't bother reading on.

This has been in the works for about 4 months and I have kept with it, writing all five chapters of it before I published to avoid my usual pattern of never updating. (Sorry.) It was originally intended to be a one shot (Which is why its chapters are so unevenly distributed.) but I decided to turn it into a multi chapter instead.

Lastly I wanted to say (because I think it's important to keep in mind) that Killian, as in the show, is much younger than Milah and actually in this story is quite close to Emma's age. Okay, that being said, I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!:)
