Aeris' POV

I stared at her with complete shock. I expected her to just sit and ignore me like usual. My jaw hung open and she just smiled sadly.

"I-I need to get you guys out of here. Now. Before it's too late." Her brown orbs brimmed with tears. She almost never cried, her tears left me anxious.

My eyes scanned the room quickly for a pen and something to write on. Once I spotted something Aniza grabbed my wrist, making it impossible for me to grab them. "I can't risk someone reading our conversation."

I nodded, sitting and staring at her, hoping she could read my eyes and answer my million questions. "I-I am trapped." She cried quietly, obviously afraid someone would hear her. "He won't let me go. And if he knows that I talked with you..." she looked down, not wanting to finish her sentence. "It will be bad. Just promise me one thing," she breathed, "don't trust anyone. Get you and the others out, before it's too late." She was now weeping quietly as she pulled me into her embrace and hugged me tightly. I obliged and wrapped my arms around her weakly. "I love you. Please be careful. And run fa-"

Before she could finish her instructions her small body was ripped away from me by a growling 6'4 blonde monster. His glare was sharp enough to cut through steel.

"What do you think you are doing?" He snarled through gritted teeth. He looked deep into Aniza's eyes and roughly pulled her close to him. "You're so ignorant! You child!" His scream caused her to flinch, only making him more angry. "You are supposed to be strong! You are supposed to do what I say!" A tear shed from her chocolate eyes. Suddenly, his glare soffened into a look of sorrow and regret. "I'm sorry, my dear. I am only looking out for us." He took her small hands in his gently and looked down at her.

I admit, it was quite awkward standing in the middle of this but I was too scared to move and remind the vamp of my presence.

"I know, Luke." She plastered a fake smile on her face. Tears still brimmed her eyes. A sharp pain was sent through my chest at the sight in front of me. Why did this have to happen to us?

"I love you." He smiled sweetly. This side of Luke would have me believe he was the sweetest guy, the type you would marry and have several children with, but that was a lie.

"I love you too." She choked out.

Lies.

"Now you." I froze, staring into his blue orbs. "Come on." He said calmly, which was not what I expected and left an unsettling feeling in my stomach.

I did as he said and followed him out of the room and up the stairs, smiling sadly at my friend one last time before I was thrown into the familiar room with my friends.

A gasp left my lips at Kayla. Her fists were covered in blood, some even dripping out of the corner of her mouth. She seemed to be passed out on the floor, her chest rising and falling at a relaxing rate.

Crawling over to her, I shook her awake and her eyes shakily pried open. "W-what?" She asked in a hoarse voice. She sounded as if she was an eighty year old smoker.

I furrowed my eyebrows at her and searched for my notebook and pen. Finally, I found it. I gripped my notebook, which was across the room and scooted myself back over to Kayla.

"What happened to you??" I wrote

She laughed lightly, sitting up and wiping the blood from her mouth onto her arm. "Aniza." She scoffed.

"She talked to me."

"What?!" She attempted to scream but it just came out as a loud whisper.

"Yeah. She isn't safe Kayla. The way she's acting, she's doing that for our own safety. We need to help her..." I frowned. My heart began beating faster with worry.

"We can try. But how?"

I shrugged.

"Um, can we please get me out of these first?" Kira rolled her eyes, motioning to her chains with her head.

"Well, we need Michael for that, as of now there's no-"

"Hello?"

"Calum! Thank god get these off of me!" Kira growled.

Kayla's POV

I looked over at the raven haired boy, smiling weakly. He had food with him, which was what I asked for.

He looked at me and his jaw dropped.
"Kay? Are you alright?"

"Does it look like I'm alright?" My voice scratched out.

"I'm sorry, that was a stupid question." He pursed his lips, quickly looking over at Kira and breaking the chains off of her with his bare hands.

Damn, that's hot.

Then, he proceeded to pass everyone a sandwich from Jimmy John's. Before handing me mine, he offered his hand instead.

"Come with me, Kayla."
