~Asuna's POV~

I felt a pang of regret as I walked towards the Knights Of the Blood Oath guild hall. Kirito went off to go solo again and I sighed, I wondered how that girl was doing. "Hey Asuna!" I turned and saw Liz waving, running towards me. I smiled and stopped at the side of the road to talk with her. "So are you headed to your guild hall?" Liz asked. I nodded, "I am, but I am kinda worried about a girl Kirito saved in the woods earlier. I didn't get her name and she seemed pretty shaken up. "Oh... Well isn't Kirito a hero?!" Liz exclaimed smiling. I giggled. "Yeah, he sure is... " I blushed. Liz smirked and played with my cheeks. "Somebody likes somebody huh?" Liz teased. "WHATEVER!" I screamed awkwardly, stomping away. At the back of my mind I worried for the girl and eventually worry got to me and I turned around and ran towards the forest in which Kirito headed off to.

~Y/n's POV~

"Can I come with you?..." I asked, crossing my fingers for luck behind my back. We stood in silence for a while until he finally answered. "What's your name?" He asked, it wasn't the answer I was looking for, but I answered. ".I'm Y/n." I said holding my breath. Kirito sighed in defeat as I made puppy dog eyes. "Come on... I'm looking for some battles for EXP. How much stuff do you have?" Kirito asked looking up at me. "Uh... Nothing... The laughing coffin took it all." I hung my head in shame, ready for him to brush me off and push me away. Instead he looked in his items and gifted me super strong armor! (I'll leave how the armor looks to your imagination) "Whoa...." I trailed off. I looked up at Kirito and squeezed him affectionately. "THANK YOU!" I yelled goofily. I heard a small chuckle from him and blushed madly. I don't know why, but he just seemed super handsome and cool, I kinda felt myself falling in love... I equipped the armor and twirled in the armor skirt. It was actually more revealing than I have ever worn before, the skirt was kind of high, but if Kirito didn't notice it, then it must be fine. I began to walk with him and blushed a bit, I mean, I WAS WALKING WITH HIM. WALKING. A voice from behind me said,"Hey girl!" I turned and saw a man with shaggy brown hair and green eyes, he had a flirty look on his face. He grabbed me by the chest and I screamed, pulling out of his grasp. I wrapped my arms around my chest. "HEY!" Kirito screamed punching the man. The man ran away in fear and I continued walking with Kirito, but my hands were still around my chest and my face was beat red. "He was a pervert, lots of guys are, you should stay away from him." Kirito said. I nodded. I bit my lip and finally we reached the forest. It was dark and scary, and memories of my friends deaths flashed through my mind. I began to whimper in fear, and Kirito noticed! He pulled me into a tight hug, "Be strong, your friends are watching over you, protecting you" he said.

~Liz's POV~

I raised my eyebrow, still wondering why Asuna ran away, I hardly realized that I had made it back to my shop. A clocked man entered the room and I looked up, snapped out of my thoughts. "Hi and welcome to the blacksmith! How can I help you?" I asked sweetly. "I need some info on this girl." He asked in a deep scary voice. He slammed a picture of a girl with h/l, h/c hair and she held a w/t, her eyes were a gentle e/c and she was walking with....KIRITO?! This must be the girl Asuna was talking about. "I'm sorry sir I don't know anything about this girl. You should ask somebody else." I said shrugging. The man grumbled, and stomped out of my shop. "What a strange man..." I muttered when he was gone.

~Kirito's POV~

It had been awhile since Y/n and I went into the forest, and by now something should've jumped out at us, c'mon Kirito don't jinx it. Too late, a monster that resembled a giant horned beetle charged at us, I grabbed Y/n's hand and pulled her out of the way. "BWAHH!" She screamed as I yanked her away, her scream was innocent and high pitched, when she realized that we were being attacked, her eyes turned to slits. She shook for a moment before pulling out her w/t, then she charged at it and battled as fiercely as she could ever be, in seconds the monster was dead. My eyes widened and I couldn't believe the amount of EXP she got! She looked at me and smiled gently, it was kinda cute how she could be so strong, but so pretty. "Who are you?" I asked, something was up with that strength of hers. She shuffled her feet on the dirt ground, "I'm from the um..." She stopped. "Your Y/n from the Attacking Duo. But where is the other girl?" I whispered in confusion. A shadow cast across Y/n's face. "It's one of the girls that died at the hands of Laughing Coffin" Y/n said as a mere whisper. She began to shake, and soon she was crying. "It's really that bad? Your grief I mean..." I asked scratching the back of my head. "Yeah..." Y/n trailed off. I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug, "I promise, I won't let that happen again, even if I am a beater." I whispered. She dug her face into my neck like a helpless little girl, "Will you let me stay with you?..." She asked. I felt my face begin to turn pink, "yeah." I agreed.
