Chapter 1

Stephanie Brown POV
I was just walking a long on the rooftop of the ACE chemicals building trying to find Hugo Strange and his base. When I heard somebody behind me say.

"What are you doing?"

I turned around to see my ex boyfriend Tim Drake and he was wearing the Red Robin suit.

"What do you want and I'm out on patrol on a case"

"I thought I told you to never to wear that suit again"

"You told me to stop being Spoiler not Batgirl"

"I can't believe you"

"You lost the privilege to tell me what to do when you punched me in your make shift cave of yours"

"Shut up to me with that crap"

That's when I lost it I jumped up in the air and took a swing at him and hit him right in the face.

"Now we are even" he had a smirk on his face

"Not in the slightest" I snapped back

Then I tried to kick him but he caught me ankle.

"I got you there" he said with a smirk

"Underestimating is a bad thing, Boy Wonder"

That was when I took out my escrima stick and hit him in the head.

"I'm not going easy on you now" he replied and I could see the rage in his eyes.

For the rest of the fight we had we kept blocking each other but we both got punched every now and then.

That was when out of nowhere a mad woman jumped from the top of a building onto ours.

Tim Drake POV
I knew this woman she was Shimmer from the League of Assassins, I knew her from the time as being their leader. I was being a double agent and destroying the League from the inside. As soon as she landed she pulled out a gun and pointed it at Stephanie. She was going to die and it was all my fault but of course she was hard headed but so beautiful...wait I didn't think that.

"I will kill you pretty girl" she yelled

That was when Stephanie kicked the gun out of her hand, elbowed her in the neck, and when she fell she stomped on her nose and broke it blood trickled down her nose.

"What are you here for" Stephanie yelled while trying to interrogate her.

"I came to protect my master just like he protected me when he was leading the League" Shimmer replied

That was when Stephanie shot her gaze over to me and said.

"You lead the League and why" she yelled at me.

"I was a double agent and was taking them down from the inside" I replied

That was when Shimmer shot straight up and pulled out another gun and said.

"You betrayed the League and now I must kill you"

Then out of nowhere Stephanie punched her in the face and knocked her out cold but I couldn't understand why she saved me.

"Why did you save me" I asked

"I don't like you but I wouldn't let her kill you we have to much good history" she replied with a nervous smile.

"I appreciate it and I l.lo ... Never mind" I almost said it but I tried to play it off.

Stephanie Brown POV
I still had feelings for Tim but after all he had done to me I wasn't sure if I should give him a second chance. I was interrupted from my thought my Tim telling me.

"I appreciate you saving me but you need to quit the vigilante gig"

"Whatever you say will not change my mind, I am going to be Batgirl" I replied

"Then you are just a liar, sorry that come out more harsh than I thought"

"Ohh no you don't get to come back into my life for 10 minutes and call me names because I swore to not be Spoiler anymore 5 years ago, I'm done with you, GOODBYE!" She was yelling now

"Steph, I'm sorry that I have treated you bad now and in the past but maybe we can have a second chance please don't go I need your help on a mission"

"Why should I help you"

"You are the most capable to help me since we are in Gotham"

"Okay I'll help but on one condition we don't talk about old times and you talk to me as an equal"

"Deal"

I wasn't sure what or why he needed me but it was nice too see him again I guess. I didn't know how to feel but then he said.

"We need to investigate and maybe even take down Hugo Strange"

"That's the case I'm working on too so we are in the same page it seems"

We grappled of to his main base to start out mission.
