Chapter 2

Stephanie Brown POV
I didn't want to ask but I did anyway.

"I know this is way of topic but are you seeing anybody or have you"
I asked

"Where did that come from" he asked.

"I was just curious"

"Well yes I am dating someone her name is Tamara Fox, Luscious Fox's daughter, what about you" he asked

"I haven't been seeing anyone since we broke up"

"Really that surprises me"

"Why do you say that"

"Stephanie Brown who better know why, you are beautiful and dropped dead gorgeous"

"I never thought I would hear that from you"

I loved him and I was proud to say it. I wasn't sure if I should but I didn't care but I will never have him he is probably in love with Tamara. I will not show it though I will just lay low.

Tim Drake POV
"Stephanie we need to get back on track" I was interrupted by a message being played across Gotham.

"Hello Batgirl and Red Robin, I have a message for you if you dare try to come into my base I will have you captured by my guards and I will broadcast your execution live on television" Hugo Strange said

"Crap" Stephanie said

"It's okay we can take it" my voice cracked

"Are you going through Puberty Boy Wonder" she smiled

"Okay we will go in stealthy and start on the roof and look for vents"

"Sounds like a great plan"

That was when I got a call through my ear piece.

"Hello" I answered

"Don't hello me, Drake" it was Tamara

"What's wrong" I asked innocently

"That message that was from Hugo Strange"

"Don't be mad that it's dangerous we can take it"

"Not that boy idiot, why are you with that airhead named Stephanie"

"She isn't an airhead, she is a good person"

"She isn't a good person because she is trying to take you away from me"

Then she hung up and man she was really a nutcase and just a rebound girl.. I didn't think that either. God I think I'm falling for Stephanie again. Then the rain started to fall and it brought me back to a memory.

Flashback
I walked up behind this girl in a purple suit in this heavy rain. When I went to touch her on the shoulder to see if she was okay. Then she turned around and hit me on the head with a brick but it wasn't that hard because she pulled back in the middle of it when she noticed who I was.

"Oh my God are you okay"

"Yeah it didn't hurt that bad"

"I didn't mean to"

"You don't need to explain I was the one that snuck up on you also I would have done the same thing if someone snuck up on me"

"So are you and Batman trying to stop Clue Master"

"Yep"

"Same here"

I didn't know her that well but I could tell she was special.

Back to present day
I was snapped back to reality by 5 ninjas jumping on to our building, Stephanie and I got into our fighting pose and started to take them out.

Stephanie Brown POV
Tim did a round house kick and took out one of the Hugo Strange thugs. Then one through a punch at me and I countered it by breaking his arm in half. Two of the thugs charged at me I threw two batarangs and knocked them both out, while Tim easily knocked out the last thug.

"Good job, Drake" I said

"Same to you, Brown" he smiled back at me.

We moved on to the roof of the base there were two snipers right below us so we were quiet and went down the vents into the base.
