Chapter 4

Tim Drake POV
We went into Stephanie's home base and had to change because we weren't going to that ball Hugo was at in our work clothes. She luckily had one of my old tuxedos in her closet and it still fit. Steph went into her bedroom to change and when she came out, Wow she was smoking hot but I who cares I still love Stephanie. She had on a purple dress and her hair was up.

"Why are you starring at me" she asked

"You. You just look amazing"

"Thanks and you don't look bad yourself"

"How are we getting to this ball"

"I have a car" Steph replied

We got in the car and I drove. We got to the ball twenty minutes later. We signed in and then we had to find Hugo. The thug said he would be setting up shop here for some reason and then we spotted him. As we started to walk over to him everybody started to stare at us and then we noticed everybody was taking out weapons.

"Attack the intruders are here" Hugo Strange said

"Oh crap this isn't good" Stephanie said

We jumped behind a column and waited for the thugs to gather around.

"Just like old times" I said to Stephanie

"Yeah let's do it" she replied

We jumped out and start to take them down.

Stephanie Brown POV
I was hoping I didn't slip on my dress while fighting. I broke the first thugs leg, then another's wrist, and finally another leg. Tim was also breaking people's bones. Only one thug was left and we took him down at the same time. Hugo Strange ran away so we had to find him and then a thug woke up and Tim interrogated him. We got a lot of good information and we headed to the Iceberg Lounge at the end of the museum. We arrived and Strange was on the top of the staircase and he had a gun which he shot at me but that was when Tim jumped in the way and it hit him in the leg. He was on the ground in pain and he shot the gun again and it hit me in my kneecap. That was when we both blacked out.

Flashback
*Bang* I fell to the ground with a bullet in my thigh and God it hurt.

"SPOILER" I could hear Tim yelling

Then I looked up to see him jump onto my dad Clue Master and continuously punch him. Finally I had to say.

"Robin stop his not worth it"

Tim dropped him and he went unconscious. Then he finally ran over to me.

"Steph, are you okay"

Then he picked me up bridal style

"It hurts but I'm fine"

Then I felt his lips crash into mine and I knew everything was okay.

"Thanks for stopping me back there because I could have gone to far, I'll get you back to the cave and fix you up"

I smiled

"I love you,Tim"

"I love you too,Stephanie"

Back to Present Time  
I woke up and Tim was already awake. We were both hung up on the wall.

Tim Drake POV
I was relieved to see that Stephanie was awake because I couldn't have lived without her. Something that was strange was we were in our suits, I guess they found the base and put them on us while we were asleep. The wounds had been cleaned and bandaged. A camera was right in front of us and Hugo Strange started talking.

"Do you know what I am going to do to both of you"

"You don't scare us" I replied back angrily

"I am going to unmask you both on national television and execute you also"

The camera turned on and I could see a tear rolling down Stephanie's face she was terrified.
