I woke up at the sweet smell of pancakes and coffee penetrating my nostrils.
I went to the kitchen, were I found my lovely mother cooking some pancakes. I love pancakes, specially the ones she makes.
-Good morning ma'.- I said while hugging her.
-Good morning Ari. How are you feeling? Are you ready to go back to school?- She said returning my hug.
-Yeah, I'm kind of exited actually.-
-Well thats good to hear.- She said while flipping a pancake.
-This pancakes smell delicious.- I said grabbing a pancake and shoving it into my mouth.
-Wow! Someone woke up hungry today.- My mother said laughing.
-Yeah, kind of.-

After eating five pancakes and a big cup of delicious coffee, I took a shower and got ready for school. I'm honestly a little excited about going back to school. I'm trying to be positive you know, trying to push my problems aside.
I changed into something comfortable, a loose black and white striped t-shirt, boyfriend jeans and my go to black Vans.
I applied a little mascara on my long eyelashes, fill in the little gaps on my brows, blush on my cheeks and bronzer on the edges of my face to give my pale skin some color, and to finish off a little chapstick on my lips.
On my hair I didn't do much. So I just ran my fingers through it and I'm ready to go.
I looked at myself in the mirror for what felt like hours. Satisfied with how I looked I grabbed my backpack, my books and went down stairs.
-Im ready ma'.-I said grabbing the car keys.
-Hey young lady. Where do you think you are going?-
-Well to school mom.- I said laughing.
-Yeah I don't think so, I'm driving. Give me those keys.- she said extending her hand.
-Mom please, trust me I'm going to be careful.-
-I said, I'm taking you.-
-Please mom, I'm old enough to do things by myself. I promise I'll be super careful.-
-You know what happened last time Ariadne...-
-Yes, but it was nothing mom. Just a little accident.-
-I almost loose you. How can you say it was nothing?-
-You are going to loose me anyways. Don't you remember what Dr. Warren said?-
-Ariadne! Don't say that.- She said with her eyes full of tears.
-I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to...-
-Please just don't mention it again. You know I don't like to talk about that.-
-I know and I'm really sorry. I love you ma'.- I said hugging her.
-I love you too baby, now go. If not you are going to be late.- She said giving me a kiss on the forehead.

I took a glimpse through the window of my car, looking at all these people makes me nervous an anxious.
