Chapter 17

OK, I know you're probably thinking I'm crazy for doing this, but I have to do this. It has to end, so I got to the warehouse and scoped around, there was two guards in the front and three in the back, they looked like they were ex army vets. That's low for my parents to do that. I didn't want to kill them, so I got my tranquilizer and shot them that way they won't die. I walked past them and went into the building, there was five more guards. I did the same to them and walked down the hall. I heard talking, so I hid behind the wall and listened to my parents argue. I guess they were discussing what just happened, I heard footsteps going away from me, so I followed. Little did I know it would be a trap...

*Dylan's POV* 

Everyone was in the kitchen and I got the oddest feeling something wasn't right, so I got up and walked upstairs to Hal's room, I knocked and no one answered. I turned the knob and looked in but she wasn't in there, I walked back down the stairs and took a deep breath. I walked back into the kitchen.

"Whats wrong" Brenda asked

"Haley's not in the room" I said combing my fingers through my hair

"WHAT" everyone yelled at the same time

"She can't be fighting her parents by herself" Harmony said

"Why not she's done it before" I said and Brenda slapped me in the arm

"It's different now" she said and I looked at her confused

"How?" I questioned

"Because she... it just is now come on we have to help her" Brenda said standing up

I sighed again and everyone literally ran out the house. I was so confused as to why they would be so anxious about this, it's not like it's her first time doing this. Everyone split up into the cars I went with Brenda, Harmony and Blake. Brenda was driving and let me tell you she drives like a mad person. We got to the warehouse and got out the guards were tranquilized but not dead, so I'm guessing she didn't want to kill them. We walked inside to find to more guards down, then we heard a loud crash. Everyone ran to where it was and Hal was fighting with her mom, Brenda screamed and they both stopped. Hals mom hit Hal over the head and she stumbled back, Hals dad was laying on the ground with two tranquilizers in his arms. Hal backed up into the wall

"Now you snot nose girl, I am so tired of you" her mom said

"Put the gun down" Harmony said

she scoffed "I don't think so, it's time to end this once and for all" she pointed the gun to Hals head

There was a loud bang, I looked at Hal and she had a gun in her hand. It was pointed at her mom and she was on the ground crying, then she passed out. I ran over to her and picked her up, Trent had called the police, so we got Hal in the car and drove to the hospital. Once we got there we checked her in and the doctors took her and we waited

*Hal's POV*

When I woke up from blacking out there was a loud beeping sound, I opened my eyes and adjusted them to the light. I was in the hospital. I tried to move my hand, but someone or something was holding it. I looked and it was Dylan, I groaned and he looked up.

"Oh my god sweetheart, we were so worried about you" he said

"I thought you didn't care" I said and he looked down

"I do care, I wouldn't be here if I didn't care" he said and I sighed

"What happened to my parents" I asked

"Your dad is fine, but your mom is in a coma" he said and I slightly smiled

"Well it's a good thing I didn't kill them" I said and he looked at me confused

"I thought you wanted them dead" he said and I shrugged

"There my parents, I couldn't kill them even if someone possessed me to, they're still my family" I said

"So all the bad things they've done you're just gonna let that go" he asked and I rolled my eyes

"I'm not saying I forgive them in any way, shape, or form I just don't want to go through the pain of losing them" I said and he was getting mad

"How could you say something like that" he stood up

"Dylan I don't need the stress right now" I said calmly

"Fine I'll go" he said walking to the door "Oh and the nurse said the babies perfectly fine, thanks for telling me" he said

"I was gonna tell you until you decided to be a jerk and my parents came back, so I'm sorry if I forgot to tell you one thing" I said feeling my blood pressure rising

"That one thing being very important" he almost yelled

"Don't yell at me, you're the one digging yourself into a deep hole" I said

"You know what I'm done" he walked out and I sighed

The nurse came in shortly and said that I can go, but without a ride I can't really go anywhere. I got up, went into the bathroom and changed back into my clothes, then walked out the hospital and to the park. I just need to get away, I was sitting on a bench then I heard someone call my name, I looked and it was Brenda and Blake. I smiled and they sat next to me

"Hal what are you doing here" Brenda asked

"I got released from the hospital five minutes ago and Dylan left me, so I decided to walk" I said

"Where'd Dylan go" Blake asked

I shrugged "I have no idea, we got in a fight and he stormed off" I said with a sigh

Brenda gave me a hug "it's ok, he found out didn't he" I shook my head and laid it on her shoulder

"Well lets get you home, so you can sleep you look tired" Blake said

We got up and walked back to the house, when we got there I went up to my room and climbed in bed and fell asleep
