Chapter 19

I didn't want to get up at all, knowing that Dylan doesn't remember me hurts. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling, then the door opened I looked at it was Harmony and Brenda, they sat on the bed and I sighed

"Hal, Christi told us what happened. We're so sorry" Brenda said

I shrugged and sat up "It's ok, maybe his just playing around" I said, but in the back of my head I know that's not true

"Hal you know that's not true, you have to call Josh" Har said

"And tell him what" I said and they looked at me like you know 

I sighed again, then got up. I grabbed my phone and called Josh

"Hey Haley, how are you" he said 

"Pregnant, but that's not why I called, I found Dylan" I said 

"That's great" He said

"Yea, but there's something wrong. He doesn't remember me" I said 

"What do mean, why wouldn't he remember you"

"I don't know that's the thing, I think he was drugged or something" 

"Well where is he" 

"He's here at the house, Josh I'm worried about him" 

"Ok, I'll be over there just keep him there"

"Alright" I sighed 

"It's going to be ok, I promise" 

"OK bye" I hung up and went into the bathroom, I got washed up and just left my clothes on. I walked downstairs and Dylan was in the kitchen. I walked in and got something to eat, I sat down in front of him and he was staring at me

"So, let me get this straight. You're my girlfriend and carrying my child" he said and I nodded "Why don't I remember you then" he asked to no one particular

"Well Josh is coming over to see if he can help" I said and he nodded

The door rang, I went to answer it and Josh walked in. I walked back into the kitchen and Dylan was still seating there

"Hey Dylan" Josh said 

"Hey Josh, so I have no idea what's going on" he said 

"I know you were drugged and lost the memory of the person you most loved" he said 

"Ok, how do I get the memory back" he asked and I was just sitting there

"Haley, did you give something to Dylan lately" I thought then shook my head

"Besides me having his child I got nothing" I said 

"There has to be one thing that means the world to him that either he was going to give it to you or the other way around" Josh said and we both sat there 

"I know, Dylan come with me" Christi said, he got up and walked away with her

"This is hopeless Josh he's not gonna remember me" I said and put my head in my hands

"Haley, sweetheart. I'm so sorry" I turned around and Dylan was standing there

"If it's really you then tell me something that happened" I said 

"The first time I kidnapped you, you wanted to fight so bad that I let you fight me and you were pretty damn good" he said, I hugged him so hard I thought I would break him

"I missed you" I socked him in the arm "Don't ever leave me like that again" I smiled and he kissed my forehead

"I love you" I smiled and hugged him again 

"I love you too" I looked at Christi "What did you show him" I asked and she grinned 

"Oh nothing" she said, I shrugged

"Tonight you get all pretty and we'll go out" he said and laughed

"Ok"

Brenda, Christi and Har wanted to take me to find a dress, so we left and the boys stayed with Dylan

*Dylan's POV* 

The girls left and it was just me and the boys. We were all sitting in the living room

"So how did Christi get you to remember" Blake asked

I got out the box and opened it "This is why I remembered I loved her so much" they all gaped at the ring

"How did she know" asked Matt

"She went with me to get it" they ohhed 

"So you're gonna ask her to marry you, what about her parents. You know she visited her dad yesterday" Trent said

"For what?"

"Hal said that he wanted to see them, he apologized to them and none of it was his fault, trust me I went with them" Matt said 

"You think I should go talk to him" they looked at me crazy

"Why would you wanna do that" Brian asked

"Why not it'll be a good way for me to finally make peace" I said 

"Dylan if you want to then go ahead" Trent said

"I'm coming with you" Matt said and I nodded

We walked to my car and he told me where to go. Once we got there I got out and walked up to the door. I knocked and a minute later he opened the door, he looked at me then at Matt and let us in. We sat on the couch and he sat in the chair.

"So Matt why are you here" he asked

"Uhh sir, Dylan wanted to talk to you" he said and her dad looked at me

"What did you want to talk about" he asked 

"Mr. Heightower I wanted to ask you if I could have your blessing in marrying your daughter Haley" I asked and his eyes went wide

"Well, you're the father of her child and you love her right" he asked, I nodded "Ok, then how can I object to that" he said 

"Thank you sir, I promise I won't hurt her" I said

"Just take care of my baby girl and my grandchild and make sure that child goes to school and doesn't get involved in this stuff" he said, I shook his hand

"I promise"

We talked for a little while longer, then we left. We got back to the house and I changed into a nice shirt and some slacks, I was seating in the living room waiting for Hal. When she came downstairs my mouth dropped, she was wearing the most beautiful dress ever, she just looked absolutely amazing

"So where are we going" She asked

"To dinner" I said

She nodded and we left to the car, I drove to a very pricey restaurant, but I would do it for my baby. We got out and walked inside, I told the lady and we walked to a table outside. We sat down and I was nervous and I think Hal could tell

"Dyl are you ok, you look flushed" She said, I took a deep breath

"Sweetheart I have something to tell you" I said, she looked confused. I got up and walked over to her and took her hands

"Whats wrong" she asked

I chuckled "Nothing, Haley I love you. I have ever since you tried beating me up, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you and our child. I don't know what I would be doing now if I hadn't taken you a year ago, but I'm glad I did or I wouldn't be able to do this" I got down on one knee and she gasped "Haley Heightower will you marry me" I asked

she was on the edge of crying, she nodded and I hugged her and kissed her. The people around us clapped and awwed, this is the best night ever
