UNSENT LETTERS
Lou,
How are you and your new love?
Does she treat you right?
Does she laugh at your silly jokes just because she loves you and not really because it's funny, like I used to?
Does she kiss your lips when you pout whenever you don't get what you want, like how I know it'd make that pout go away?
Does her hand fit perfectly in yours whenever you hold it just like mine?
Do you take her places we've been and remember how happy we were?
Do you look at her with so much love that your eyes sparkle like stars in the dark night just like what they say you look at me before?
Do you kiss her and wish it was the taste of my lips you taste instead?
Do your bodies fit together like pieces of jigsaw puzzle like ours did in our late night cuddles?
Do you love her like you used to love me?
Tell me ... am I that easy to replace or was I just that easy to forget?
Love,
El
