Unsent Letters
Lou,
I remember those nights when you would randomly tell me what you wanted your future to be.
Those nights when you would suddenly blurt out how you want a son as our first born so you could teach him how to play football and how a girl should be treated, while pulling me into your embrace as we lay together.
Those nights when you'd say you want to still be making music for as long as you could to continue inspiring people through it while stroking my hair gently, coaxing me to sleep.
Those nights when you'd confess how you'd do everything you could to help others through charity while pressing a chaste kiss good night on my forehead.
Those nights when you said you wanted to live and experience the beauty of life on the other side of the world from where we are, before I'd hear your magical voice that'd lull me to sleep.
Or those nights when you'd stay up all night, simply planning together with me, a beautiful world ahead of us.
I'm happy you're finally living your dreams.
Those dreams the I was supposed to be a part of.
Love,
