"Why don't you have a seat and watch my shows with me?" A quiet voice calls from a creaking rocking chair, one that seemed to be empty at first glance, the room so cold as your shoes make old, rotting floorboards creak, nearly freezing as goosebumps raise the hair on your arms, the back of your neck. The room seems to flicker for just a moment, this brief flash of a warm log cabin, books lining the walls, a well made and colorful area rug on the hardwood underneath the old rocking chair that was tattered and molding before, the smell of the whiskey and leather and paperbacks caressing your nostrils instead of the faint stench of death that had invaded them. Jack looks a bit haggard, dark circles under his eyes, what you can see of them behind that hood anyway, a black one attached to an oversized hoodie that hangs off of him, a little light blue stud just under the middle of his bottom lip catching your eye as his mouth opens to speak,

"This is my first anthological book and honestly I've been working on it for quite some time now. I'm not the fastest writer in the world, but I'll be sure to update as soon as I can, which will sometimes be for existing chapters while others are for new stuff. I appreciate the patience of the ones that have tuned in,"
