I coughed to break the silence. Kian slowly backed away, and acted like nothing had happened.

This girl with brunette hair and high wasted shorts on came up behind Kian.

"Kian we need to talk." She snickers crossing her arms.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Kian looks confused. He glances at me and pulls her to the side.

They talk for about 5 minutes. Then Kian walks back over to me.

"Sorry she's a freak. Her names Kristen and she's been hopelessly in love with me for years now." Kian washes his hands.

--

School finally ends and Kian offers to take me home.

I direct him to my house. "Can I walk you to the door?" Kian asks nicely putting the car in park.

"Sure." I smile.

He runs over to my side of the car and opens the door for me.

"Thanks for helping me clean up today." I tell him about to open the door."

"Sorry that happened to you. Can you wait one second? So I can at least say goodbye?" Kian begs annoyingly.

"I suppose" I smile.

"Can we uhh hang out tomorrow after school maybe?" Kian asks tucking his hands into his front pockets.

"I don't know. You seem like a nice guy and all.. But-" I was interrupted.

"We can just hang out at my place?" He asks with the sweetest tone in his voice.

"I guess." I say. As I open the door.

"Bye"

--

It was the last period of the day and I wasn't really looking forward to hanging out with Kian.

I walk out of the front door of the school and Kian grabs my arm.

"Hey! We still hanging out today?"

"Yeah. I'll meet you at your car in a few?" I say as I walk into the bathroom.

I hear crying coming from one of the stalls.

"Hello?" I ask the young girl.

She sniffles and tells me that she's okay.

"What's wrong?" I ask, worried.

"Nothing." She responds shortly.

She comes out of the stall, she looks like a wreck.

"What's your name?" I ask her. As I wash my hands.

"Abbi. Yours?" She asks.

"Lexi. Hey here's my number, call me if you need anything okay?" I speak as I slip a piece of paper with my number on it into her backpack.

"Thanks" she smirks.

--

I walk up to Kian's car and he's leaning against it with head phones in his ears.

He starts dancing and singing the new one direction album very loudly.

"Kian! Stop, everyone is staring!" I say with a serious face.

He takes the head phones out of his ears and throws them through the car window.

"What up cutie!" He winks at me.

"Don't call me that." I snicker.

"Sorry." Kian says really apologetic.
