As Roxy is running home she gets a text from her mom saying "come home" mean while Alex and Maddy were still at the park. Alex and Maddy were swinging on the swings talking about the most random stuff. As there talking Alex finally notices Maddy's he grabs her hand and pulls her close hugging her as tight as he can manage. Maddy, trying to catch her breath hugged him back. " why didn't you tell me?" Alex asked whispering into her ear. Maddy shakes her head slightly holding back the tears "I don't know" she says in a slight scared voice. " I wish I was there to protect you." Alex says slowly loosening his arms letting her catch her breath. " me too." Maddy says snuffling quietly. A tear falls from Maddy's cheek. Alex gently wipes the tear from her cheek. Maddy slowly looks up to him braking a slight smile. Alex hugs her again and goes back to his swing and Maddy goes to hers as well. They change the subject quickly and start talking about stuff. -A hour later- Roxys at home in her room texting Maddy and Alex in a group chat.
Roxy- well I have detention. 😞
Maddy- what! Why?!😱
Alex- not a surprise. 🙄😄
Roxy- apparently I was late five times to class. Witch they have no pruff off. 😒
Alex- who's class?
Roxy- ms. McKoy 👎
Maddy-Dang she's ruff.
Roxy-Ikr! Anyways I gtg. I'll see you guys at the buss stop. Baii!!
Alex- k bye
