Reyna x Nico- A Percy Jackson Fanfiction

Nico - Chapter 2

For the first time in forever, Nico was happy. And not part happy, part depressed, part angry. It was just happy. The last time he felt this was before his mother died, which was quite a long time ago. He missed this feeling. It had been so long, it almost felt like he forgot what it felt like to be happy.

Percy and Annabeth sat down across from them, with Jason and Piper next to them. Leo and Calypso were sitting next to Nico and Reyna. Hazel and Frank were currently at Camp Jupiter. Frank and Reyna alternated the camps they were at. When Frank was at Camp Half-Blood, Reyna was at Camp Jupiter, and vice versa. This way, there was always 1 Praetor at Camp Jupiter no matter what, and Frank and Reyna could visit their friends at Camp Half-Blood. Of course, they always brought their boyfriend/girlfriend with them. Hazel never left Frank's side outside of Camp Jupiter, and Nico went to Camp Jupiter whenever Reyna did.

After being alone for so long, both Nico and Reyna had someone they could be with whenever they wanted. Both of Nico's mortal family members died, and since then he was always angry, mad at the world for the loss of his mother and sister. But now, he had Reyna. His beloved Roman girlfriend. Nico and Reyna were living proof that it didn't matter whether you were Greek and your partner was Roman, or vice versa, you could find love anywhere.

As for Reyna, her sister was the Queen of the Amazons. She didn't get to see Hylla much. The last time she saw her sister was when she had intervened in her mission to bring the Athena Parthenos back to Camp Half-Blood. Her mother, Bellona, didn't really bother to visit her either. And her father, well, let's just say if he was actually a good father, Reyna and Hylla wouldn't have ended up at Circe's Island. So her only real company was Nico. Jason disappeared, and when he came back, he only returned with another girl at his side. Percy refused her company because he had Annabeth. Frank had Hazel. Reyna was always alone.

But not anymore. Nico was her knight in dark black armor.
