        (Halloween Night)
        Gloria Matthewson

I slam my locker so hard that the rest of the lockers vibrated.
Putting my book bag on I ran through the blue double doors finally tasting freedom.
I been studying so hard for this exam so hard that literally my brain went to mush.
Shaking out my thoughts I spoke scanned the parking lot for my Mosda.
A car horn blared off and I seen my car but unfortunately it had other visitors.
Jogging to my car I frowned looking who was in my back seat.
Gregory
I look at Max like he just dug my grave.
I grabbed Max arm and pulled him out the passenger seat.
Practically dragging him until we stopped and whispered screamed,"What is wrong with you"
"Gloria he just--
He interrupted himself when it pieced together.
His face became red and he balled his fist.
"That bastard"
"Yeah I know..trust me I know he could be a--
I was interrupted when Gregory strutted himself ourself seeming interested in our conversation.
Knowing we had to end this conversation at the moment we gave each other understanding glances.
We walked back to the car in eerie not even bothering to love at one another.
Hoping in the driver seat after hearing two doors slam I start the engine.
Driving I ask where Gregory lives.
"Down the street on right"
After meeting or destination and watching him walk through the door me and Max look each other and he gives me that lopsided grin.
His intensity of his green eyes gave me chills.
"We're gonna get the douche back right?
"You know it"
We high five each other before I put it in drive and drove to his house.
Parking in his driveway I waited about 10 minutes for him to get out but the thing is why I waited that long before realizing he wasn't gonna get out.
Like he was reading my mind he asked "I don't wanna go home can we go to your house"
Honestly he sounded like a 6 year old it was funny and adorable.
"And what if I say no"
"Then I'm gonna sing Roar on the top of my lungs where ever you go"
"You wouldn't dare"
He took in a gulping of air before screaming "I USE TO BITE MY TONGUE AND HOLD MY BREATH SCARED TO ROCK THE BOAT AND--"
I interrupted by saying "Alright,Alright, I get it"
"See that's why I love Katy Perry she just knows how to annoy someone especially since I'm a bad singer"
"Yeah okay were going to my house it is then"
Max and all his pettiness is over there saying "Yes!!!!"
I wanted to turn the car around so badly but somehow I couldn't.
See this is what I get for kicking that cat off the porch,is this what it's for.
With all that thinking I was already parked in my driveway.
Well I guess that's that then,no turning back.
Going in my pockets I grabbed my keys then unlocking the door.
He ran in like a ten year old then flopped on my couch.
"Home sweet home"
I turn around to close the door and lock it then I catch Max rambling in my fridge getting a popsicle.
He began to open the popsicle until I say "give it back"
"Not to you catch me sweet heart"
"Oh you going down player"
He didn't respond because he took off upstairs and me not far behind.
He took a run for the library and I followed pursuit behind him tackling him to the ground.
We rolled until we bumped into bookshelf.
Let me say we were in an Interesting position.
My hair was tangled in every direction every recorded Max was on top of her squishing her delicate body. His hands were pinning her arms and her hands were on the popsicle that she fought for.
Ignoring the awkward tension she spoke "Haha I won sucka"
"Yeah ,yeah"
"Can we get up your cramping me"
"Nah mind if we switch position"
"Uhh"
"Yes it is then"
Max flipped us over and I look at those intense green eyes only making this worse because we both knew we were In A Long Shot.
Grinning I got up sticking my tongue out.
