Ch12: This is some Bull

I jumped back in my car closing the passenger door with my mind racing.
He probably was just messing with me.
Buy then again I haven't seen Max all week.
I put the key in the ignition and drive off accidentally hitting the school mailbox on the way out.
Not even caring I drove into the neighborhood frantic and press on the accelerator then slowing down when I arrived to Max house.
I hope out the car as quickly as can in the process get stuck in the seat belt.
Finally getting out I bang on the front door and Max mom opens up.
Her eyes searches my face then her eyes says pure concern.
"Are you okay dear"
"No but I will be where's Max"
"He's here dear just got home from practice"
"Thankyou may I come in"
"Sure dear"
She opened the door and I come in and hurry upstairs.
After climbing there stairs I start banging on his room door.
A few shuffling and a girl voice groaning.
Max opens the door irritated then softens when he sees my face.
"Gloria what happened"
"I thought..I thought I lost you"
He pulls me in a hug as I sob in his chest as he whispers it's okay.
"Gloria come in"
I step back and peek in his room.
"It's alright you have company"
I pointed to Maricela and without hesitation Max said "can you leave for a second Mari"
He open the door and she grumbled.
"But Maxxx.."
"Just for a second"
"Okay"
She grabbed her pants off the floor and walk towards the door.
And walked away without looking back.
I walked in and he locked the door behind him.
"So what's up"
"Max I..Gregory tried to rape me at my on soccer game and at the parking lot but I won,anyway he said to worry about you and I didn't see you for a week but--"
Max ended my rambling by kissing me on the forehead then hugging me.
"Gloria I'm fine thanks"
He rubbed his thumb over my eyes wiping my tears.
Letting me go he pulled his phone eye texting who I guess is Mari telling her to go home and he'll make up for it.
Throwing his phone on the soft chair he layed on the bed and patted the spot next to him.
Climbing on the bed he grabbed my hand pulling me closer.
We layed in silence for while until he said "do you know your my number one girl"
A smile grew on my lips
"No I didn't"
He pulled me closer like I wasn't close enough.
Whispering in my ear he said "Well now you know"

Halloween tomorrow and I'm still debating if I should take Maricela. I would rather take Gloria,I would love to here her sarcasm right now.
It's just her outlook on the world that makes her different and her Idagaf about what you say,look on the world when it comes to her dreams.
The girls I date I date only want one thing. To get laid...
I can't believe what I'm saying I love Gloria but Imma pretend like I don't until I'm sure.
