Good Ol' IHOP

   I got up and woke the kids up." Come on grandma made breakfast. We walked into the kitchen." Hello sleepy birds. I made eggs and bacon!"

   "Hmmm." I said." What's hmmm?" Bob asked." Granny grandpa, papa wants us to be skinny so we don't eat meat." Eugenia.

   "We'll just swing by IHOP." I said." No no no we have to stay together like family. Besides I made eggs."

   "Really it's fine. I'll be wasting MY money." I got my keys and we got in the car. We drove to IHOP and got our table." So JJ what do you want?"

   "Maybe waffels and grits. And orange juice." He said." What about you Lil sis?" "Maybe pancakes with bananas strawberries and wiped cream. And milk."

   Eugenia was my cute little bug. She had short brown hair and round purple glasses.

   I told our order to the waiter and we waited for our food. Our food arrived and we ate." How is your food?" I asked. Eugenia gave me two thumbs up." It's great probably better then granny's." JJ joked. Eugenia laughed.

   "Come on finish up let's go." I told them. JJ stuffed the last bits of grits in his mouth. I paid and we left the store." Why wasn't mommy eating with us?" Eugenia asked.

   I gasped. I forgot all about Courtney. I drove over to her house and looked in the window.

   She was sitting at her table eating a huge breakfast with her parents and some friends.

   "Did mommy forget about us?" Eugenia asked." Yeah. Yeah she did baby." I said quietly.
