We walked into the mall looking bomb af.

"Where to first?" Avery asked.

"Well, we gotta get my sister some baby clothes for the baby shower," Aysa said.

"We can to to Baby Imports. They got some good stuff," I said.

"Ight let's go," Aysa said, leading the way.

"This stuff high af!" Avery said. She held up a light pink bib with rhinestones on it. It read 'This princess isn't gonna feed herself.'

Then she showed me the price tag.

"Damn!" I said. That bib was $73. Got life fucked up.

"They ain't gone do nothing but fuck it up anyway, that's what i don't understand," KaPri said.

"Lemme see that?" Aysa asked. Avery handed it to her.

When she read it, she smiled. "Imma get this."

We looked at her like she was crazy.

"What?"

"You finna spend $73 one bib?! It's not even buy two get one free!" Avery said.

"Y'all over exaggerate," she said.

"You gone head and get that then," KaPri said.

"This cute. And it's a reasonable price," I said. It was a onesie that said, 'Wait, this isn't the womb...' in big pink letters. It had a rhinestone embroidered collar too. It was lit af!

"How much it is?" Avery asked.

"$28," I said, reading the price tag.

"Still a little too high," she said.

I looked at her. "I feel bad for your kids."

"They gone get stuff they want. But I'm not gone spoil 'em," she said.

"I want a girl. So I can dress her up and put pigtails in her hair," Aysa said.

"Me too!" Avery said.

"I want a boy," KaPri said.

We all looked at her. "What? They keep up a lot less drama than girls," she said.

"True. But what if he get a girl pregnant?" I asked.

"Well, shit, he on his own shit. He could lay up in the bed with her, he can lay up in his own house with her," she said.

I laughed, shaking my head. "You hell."

"Stating facts," she said, shrugging.

"Alaya, what you want?" Aysa asked.

"I ain't never really thought about it," I said.

"She seem like she would have a boy," Avery said.

"How?"

"Trent look like the type of nigga that can only produce boys," she said.

That's when I died. "Bitch you stupid!"

"For real. Y'all ever just look at people and be like, 'I bet he ain't got no girls. And if he don't have kids yet, his first one gone be a boy.'"

"Not bout to play with you," I said.

Aysa phone started ringing. She looked at the caller ID, rolled her eyes, then answered it.

"What?" She asked in an aggravated tone.

"Where you at?" I heard Nick's voice boom through the phone speakers.

"At the mall with the girls still! You aggy!" She said.
