Percy's POV

Annabeth is now 5 months along in the pregnancy and constantly snacking. She fell asleep on the couch last night and there were crumbs down her shirt and around her mouth. I could barely stop myself from laughing.

It is incredibly endearing to watch her casually stroke her stomach. It brings a smile immediately to my face. That was what she was doing in the car to the doctors office. She had her 5 month checkup. She was supposed to go for her 4 month but she couldn't get out of bed she was so sick.

I was parking in a spot when she adjusted herself and groans quietly. "What." I said, not excited for the lecture I was about to get.

"You didn't park correctly." She said.

I had already turned off the car by this point and she looked at me like I should have known. "Do you want me to re-park."

"No," She sighed dramatically, "but if I were anyone else you would have been in a lot of trouble."

"If you were anyone else we wouldn't be together and I would find you and marry you."

She paused a moment looking at me with a blank face. Then a small smile spread across her lips. "That was so cheesy. It made me wanna vomit a little."

"That's what I'm here for." I grinned and we left the car.

*******

In the doctors office I was sitting on a chair and Annabeth was on the examination table. She sighed over and over as I tapped my index and middle fingers on my knee cap in a random pattern. Annabeth looked around and saw a plastic baby and pointed.

"That's in my stomach." She grasped her stomach and looked down at it in wonder.

The doctor walked in, an Indian woman who had taken a liking to Annabeth and I.

"Hello! How are you this morning."

I looked at Annabeth expectantly.

"Um, I'm tired I guess. I've been really emotional lately."

"What. That's not true. You are emoting more than normal for you, but you are emoting like a normal person." She glared at me.

A small tinkling laugh cuts through Annabeth glare. It was the doctor. She looked at both of us, smiling and shaking her head.

"Ok Annabeth you know the drill. We are just going to take some blood. I'm going to feel your stomach. We might not have ultrasound. I don't know depends on you and Baby Jackson. Have you decided on a name yet?"

Annabeth and I exchanged a knowing glance and I said. "We have some options but we haven't decided yet."

The doctor nodded her head. "You are quite big for just one baby! Are you sure it is just one?"

"Um, I don't know. You are the doctor." Annabeth was clearly panicked.

"Twins aren't in my family but they are in Annabeth's family. So the possibility is very real and Annabeth is nervous about giving birth once let alone twice." I said holding Annabeths hand, trying to re-assure her.
