A few weeks passed and all the Creepypastas began to make new friends, even Lost Silver! One day, the pastas saw a flier and gathered 'round. Everyone looked at each other, "A dance already?" Lost Silver asked.
"Oh yay! That sounds fun!" Sally exclaimed.
Suddenly, footsteps could be heard, it was Mrs. Grace, "Ah, you've all seen the flier!"
"The dance sounds fun!!" Sally twirled around, her dress flaring up and spinning with her. Lost Silver nodded and the others talked, "You guys can waste your time at the dance, I'll stay at home." Jeff said.
"Aww, come on Jeff! Please? It'll be fun I swear!" Sally implored.
"No way, I have been to dances and they aren't fun, I can tell ya that."
"For those who go to the dance, I might add some extra credit." Mrs. Grace winked as she tried to convince Jeff.
"I have A's and B's in all my classes (Surprising huh?), so I think I'm good."
"How about you go to the dance just this once, and if you don't like it you don't have to go again?" EJ reasoned, expecting a no.
Jeff considered this, Hmm, I guess there's no harm trying, he thought. "Ok, I'll come I guess..."
Sally gasped and cheered, "But!" EJ said, "You have to bring... A date!" EJ joked.
"What?! Hell no!!" Jeff said fiercely.
"Jeffery!" Mrs. Grace exclaimed.
"Uh... Oh, heavens no..."
"If I catch you saying curse words again you'll be in the principal's office!"
"I'm kidding!" EJ laughed.
"You better be..." Jeff mumbled.
Soon, Mrs. Grace had to leave to file papers and everyone waved farewell to her.The bell for lunch finally rang, and the pastas all went to their separate groups of friends. Bloody Painter sat alone drawing, until a voice broke through his concentration, "Hello, do you mind if I sit next to you?"
BP (Bloody Painter) looked up and saw the face of a stranger, "Uhm, sure." he said quietly.
"What's your name?"
"Helen. Helen Otis."
"That's a cool name!"
"Thank you, wh-what's yours?"
"I'm Bailey! Bailey Collin! Nice to meet you Helen!"
"Uh, nice to meet you too." Helen's voice sounded hoarse for some reason.
There was a few minutes of silence until Bailey said something, "What are you doing?"
"Drawing, why?"
"Well, I was just wondering what kind of talents you might have."
"Hmm? You first."
"Oh, I play the cello in band! The school is letting us play live music at the dance!!"
She really likes band. Helen thought as Bailey talked about how band worked.
"So, what are your talents?" Bailey asked.
"Well, I can draw... and I'm ok at singing." (Does anyone watch Cweepypasta?)
"Really? That's cool! I can't draw to save my life!"
Helen smiled, "Well, I can't play the cello to save my life."Ben and Sally usually sat across from each other during lunch, talking and gossiping, "Huh, look at Helen. Looks like he's found a girl for himself!" Ben smiled.
"I hope he asks her to the dance!" Sally said.
"She looks interesting." Ben said, obviously distracted, Sally sighed and had an idea. "I'm gonna play Match up! I'll get you your match for you!" Sally said as she got up. Ben smiled and amusement flickered in his eyes, "Alright, but be careful about doing that around Jeff."
"Why?"
"He's sensitive about that. Him and Hazel, I mean."
"Oh, ok!!" Sally agreed as she ran off to go play Match up at the playground."Heya C-Clocky!!" Toby exclaimed, "How y-ya doin'?"
Clockwork pulled Toby in close and whispered, "Don't call me Clocky! Please! I'm fine."
"Ok! Then what should I call you?"
"Call me Natalie." Clocky whisper yelled.
"Oh, ok Natalie." Toby winked, then went off to the lunch line.Toby waited in line, being his normal self, twitching and making noises. (Tourette's works like that, if I get that wrong I'm sorry.) A random jerk started to nudge his friends and point at Toby, laughing quietly and whispering to each other, Oh god, not this again... Toby thought as his possible bullies walked up to him. "H-hey." Toby greeted them trying not to twitch.
"Heya Weirdo. How about you come with us? So we can "get to know each other"." , the first one sneered.
"Yeah." The rest of them snickered.
Toby was suddenly grabbed by the back of his shirt before he could object. "Oh c'mon..." Toby looked at the jerks that were in front of him, hoping something or someone would come.
"Hey!! Stay away from him, you jerk!!" , a voice was heard. The first guy looked to see it was a girl with black hair, darkish skin, and about 5'4" standing up to him. Then, he looked at his other jerk friends, smiled, and signaled them to follow him to the back of the lunch line. His friends put Toby down and followed him. The girl glared at them and walked to Toby, "Are you ok?" she asked.
"Uh, y-yeah. I'm fine." Toby replied.
"My name is Gracie by the way!" Gracie held out her hand to help Toby up. Toby took her hand and got up, "My name i-is Toby. And thanks!"
"You're welcome!"
"Do you want to sit with me at lunch maybe?"
"Sure!"
Soon, Toby and Gracie were sitting with Clockwork eating and chatting. Hmm, I bet those jerks are gonna follow me. Toby thought.
"Hey, Toby, do you mind if I walk home with you just in case?" Gracie asked.
"Huh? No, no! I-it's fine, re-really."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, after all I can try to d-defend myself!"
"Against Randall and three of his hooligans? Let me walk home with you, I need to ask you something after school anyway."
"Well, I-I guess it wouldn't h-hurt." Toby shrugged.
