"Good morning," I chuckled, helping Arin out of bed.
"No," he groaned tiredly, "I want to go back to sleep."
"Aww, yeah?" I asked, a bit concerned if he was doing alright.
"Yeah. Jon, I'm way too tired," he looked up at me pleadingly.
"Alright. Okay, go back to sleep," I told him, leaving the room.
I heard a distant, "Yay," from Arin as I left the room.
I decided that I would make him some breakfast for when he woke up, as he was sure to be hungry when he did wake.
About an hour later, Arin slowly trudged his way to me. It was clear that he was still drowsy, but he had just woken up.
"Hey, buddy," I smiled at him.
"Hi, Jon," he mumbled. His voice seemed to be a bit sore.
"I made you breakfast," I motioned to the bacon and eggs I cooked for him.
"Thanks," he rasped, sitting down to eat.
"You okay?" I questioned, commenting on Arin's voice.
"What do you mean?" He answered with a question of his own.
"Your voice sounds a bit sore, that's all. Do you want a drink?" I offered.
"I can get it," Arin stood up.
"Sit back down, Arin. You're tired," I pushed him back down into his chair as gently as I could, and then went to get him some water.
"Aww," Arin groaned, defeated.
"Here you go," I spoke to him triumphantly a few moments later, handing him the water.
"Oh, you can get water. Congratulations," Arin muttered sarcastically.
"You're welcome," I retorted, laughing a bit.
Arin stayed relatively silent after that, eating his food, and coughing occasionally.
"Hey, is your throat hurt?"
"Yep," Arin responded quietly, nodding his head weakly.
"Do you want me to get you anything?"
"Like what?" Arin continued curiously.
"I don't know. What would you want?"
"I don't know," he shrugged, closing his eyes, "I should call Dan."
"Okay."
"I don't wannu," Arin complained, whining.
"Why not?"
"He's gonna be all worried, and ask where I've been, and-"
"Arin, do you want him to keep worrying?"
"No," he sighed.
"Okay, so call him. You'll be fine," I reassured him.
"Okay," Arin gave in, taking out his cell phone, and calling Dan.
"Hello?" A long silence from Arin followed, "I'm fine, Dan," another stretch of quiet, "I'm at Jon's... Yeah, I didn't know either. ... Yeah... Mh, no, I'm fine. ... Yep, I'm okay. ... Bye."
"See, that wasn't too bad!" I chuckled.
"Yeah. Hey, Jon?" Arin asked with a more serious tone of voice.
"What is it?" I placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Can I stay with you?" He hugged me gently.
"Aww, what do you mean?" I blushed slightly.
"I want to live with you."
"I told you already that you can stay for as long as you like," I held him closer.
"Thank you," he smiled a small smile, clung onto me, and wouldn't let go.
"You still sleepy?"
"Only a bit."
"You should relax a little, okay?"
"Fine," Arin agreed.
