If Only I Could

Party time

It had been three weeks since the girls had seen any of the boys, though Millie had spoken to Nate and had loads of messages from him. Kelly had also had lots of texts from Austin and some phone calls. He did send her a couple of photos which she really liked.
It was the day the girls travelled to Nottingham to meet up with the boys.
The girls got a train at 1pm and it arrived about an hour later. Nate had told them to get a taxi to the venue and to let him know when they are almost there because Davey was going to pay for it. When they were ten minutes away Millie text Nate and told him where they were. True to his word Davey was outside waiting for them. He paid for the taxi and took the girls inside. He said " The boys are doing the sound check go and watch it if you want to."
They casually walked out and just stood there watching them. Austin had noticed Kelly standing there just watching him, all he could do was smile, he had missed her but couldn't tell anyone. When they had finished that song, they all jumped off the stage and ran over to the girls. Nate just threw his arms around Millie, to which she hugged him back, as if they were a couple who had been together a long time. Drew and Levi gave Shannon and Catherine quick hugs and then they all started to walk away, leaving Austin alone with Kelly. He took hold of her hands and said " I have missed you, I know we have spoken and I have sent you pictures and the texts, but it's not the same."
Kelly could see the emotion in his eyes so she said " I know you have but I am here now so maybe we can have the chance to get to know each other, but first you have to do the final show. There is one thing the other girls had that I haven't had yet."
Austin knew and put his arms around her, holding her tightly. Kelly really didn't want that moment to end. As they pulled away from each other they paused just looked at each other, smiled and he held her hand as they walked into the dressing room.

Drew said " Where have you two been?"
Austin replied "Talking, just us two is that okay with you?"
Drew just smiled at him because deep down Drew knew how Austin felt.
The boys were chilling for a couple of hours, having food and generally just being four young men.

Shannon sat with Kelly and said "Well how is he on his own?"
Kelly's voice seemed to get quite emotional when she said " Shannon he is wonderful, is genuinely shy when not on stage. In the time between seeing them he has sent me over 200 text messages, as well as phone calls. I think he is seriously cute and who knew someone like him would be interested in somebody like me."

Shannon could see Austin constantly looking over at Kelly so she said "Don't look at him now but all the while we have been sitting here talking, Austin hasn't took his eyes off you."

Nate said "Austin, she isn't going anywhere she is talking to her friend."
"I can't help it, we have been apart for three weeks. I want to get to know her."
"And you will, if you ask her she may even come down to London while we do the recording, but don't ask her yet, let's get the show done first."

Shannon said "Did you get your hug off him because we all had one off all the others but you didn't get one from Austin when everyone else did?"
"Yes I got my hug, it was sort of special, well to me it was to me. Shannon you know how I feel about him, I have dreamt of this moment for so long. Excuse me for a minute."

Kelly got up, left the room and went to find the toilet away from the dressing room.

Austin had noticed, went over to Shannon and said "Where has Kelly gone?"
"Austin sit down."
He sat down and Shannon said "Kelly has gone out there, she has dreamt of meeting you so much, it has upset her, because her feelings are so strong."
"What do you mean?"
Drew heard and said " Austin that girl is in love with you anyone can see it."
"She can't be we don't know anything about each other, we have only just met."
Now Millie joined in and said "Austin are you kidding me, she has been in love with you since she saw you at the vamps shows. She has a photo album with your pictures in, okay there are some of the vamps too,but more of you. She has printed some off too."
"So why has she walked out of the room?"
Nate said "Austin you doughnut, the girl loves you and she is scared that you don't feel the same way."
Austin went to go and find Kelly, but Drew and Shannon stopped him, Shannon said "Austin let me and Drew go, she won't talk to you, well not about how she feels about you anyway. I know she has spoken to you but her feelings are deep."
