If Only I Could

Starting Over

A week after they had got engaged Austin and Kelly were on a flight to Los Angeles and the start of their new life together. Kelly was feeling sick because she hated flying. Austin said "Hey Babe please don't worry I will look after you, just sleep if that helps or put music on."
Nine hours later the plane touched down at LAX airport. Another hour before they cleared customs, then Austin said "Come on let's go home."
"Now you have told your parents I am coming haven't you, because if you haven't it may come as a bit of a shock."
"Of course I have, Jayden can't wait she will have a big sister in the house for a bit."
Kelly just smiled because she was looking forward to getting to know people who may actually care about her.
It was another twenty minutes before they pulled up at Austin's home. As soon as the car pulled up outside the house, Jayden came running out. She waited for Austin to get out the car then she threw her arms around him, so Austin said "You missed me then."

Jayden said "I always miss my big brother."
"Have you said hello to Kelly."
Kelly who was now standing beside Austin said "Hello Jayden how are you?"
Jayden just threw her arms around Kelly and said "Hello Kelly how are you?"
Kelly said "I am okay thank you, I hope we can be friends."
Jayden nodded and then they all went inside. Austin introduced Kelly and everyone seemed to like her. Mrs Corini said "I have made room in your closet for Kelly's things, so go on, go and chill for a bit, I will shout you both later when food is ready. Jayden leave them for a while till they have relaxed from that long flight."
Kelly and Austin went into his room and when he walked in he said "Mom has decorated too. "
Austin put Kelly's stuff away while she sat on the bed. Austin was chatting away to Kelly but when she hadn't answered or replied to anything he had said he turned around and found Kelly was fast asleep. Austin just put a blanket over her and let her sleep and he carried on putting things away.

A couple of hours later Austin was waking Kelly up by saying "Babe come on mom has done us some food."
It took Kelly a few minutes to wake up, to which Austin said "Hey how are you now."
"Better I must of needed that."
"One minute you were talking to me and then when I looked you were a sleep ."
"I'm sorry."
"Hey don't say sorry, you needed it, because we are going to get twenty questions when we join everyone for our meal."
"Well you can answer any awkward ones, I really don't want to embarrass myself yet."
Austin smiled and said "Baby that's why I love you so much. You will be okay stop worrying."
They went down to the dining room to join the rest of the family for a meal. During the meal all sorts of questions were asked and Austin answered them all.
Jayden said "I am looking forward to having a big sister to do girly things with."
Kelly said "Hey Jayden I will over doing all sorts of things, when Austin is in the studio."
After the meal Kelly went and did some craft things with Jayden for her school project. Austin and his mom stood and watched them. Mrs Corini said "Look at the way Kelly is listening to every word Jayden is saying and helping her."
"I told you what a great person Kelly is, I love her so much mom, she has told me things others have said but for some reason it meant more coming from her."
"She's a lovely girl Austin."
"That's what I think too. That's why I asked her to marry me. I know we are both young but I know how much I love and care for Kelly."
Kelly just looked over to Austin and smiled, she was loving spending time with Jayden and getting to know her.

Later that evening Austin and Kelly were in his room watching a film when Kelly said "I love Jayden she is so cute."
"She loves you too, because if she didn't she wouldn't of said a word to you."
