I awoke on a bed, the most comfortable bed I'd ever touched, I pulled myself up with ease, when I opened my eyes I gasped "annabeth?" She smiled "how are you-" "I'm not, Percy, you are.... you're dead" she let a tear drop from her eye "and thank the gods you came here!" I hugged her, but in our embrace I felt a serge, and then I knew of the gods true cruelty, I had to leave. I had to leave my love, the only way to return was death, and sadly my return was needed, I took annabeth by the hand, in tears I told her, "i have to leave, but when I'm back we can do whatever you want, until I must return again, I love you" teardrops hissed on the ground and everything seemed... dark... "I know" she said "I love y-" I heard 'you' echoing through all of hades and i saw her crumbling into dust and bones, I truly awoke crying, curled up on a cold hard grimy sidewalk, my clothes were ripped up and my face was bruised, I got up and looked around, trying to get my bearings, I was near a local cemetery, it was close to Avengers tower, I knew I could find my grave in the cemetery, I didn't bother, I walked to the tower and walked in like I owned the place, when I got onto lounge floor everyone's faces went pale, "need something?" I asked "Nico, thanks by the way, It was the only way" "I'll kill you any time, then you can see Annabeth and I can come down for a visit."
