Josh's P.O.V.

"And we'll never be Royals! It don't run in our blood, that kind of lux just ain't for us, we crave a different kind of buzz!" Anna sang beside me. She's been singing this song ever since she's heard of it. She says she's experiencing 'LSS' which supposedly means, ' Last Song Syndrome ' 

"Anna, turn it down. I'm watching TV," I complained, as she rolled her eyes. 

"No, you turn it down. I'm listening to Lorde's masterpiece!"

"Who the hell is Lord? You mean the Lord Jesus Christ?"

"What? No! I mean Ella Yelich-O' Connor, a.k.a. Lorde, who sings this song." she says in a what-the-fuck-you're-so-stupid tone, as to which I roll my eyes to.

I swear I hear that song everytime I'm in the car or in just random places. And I'm fricking irritated by it. I grabbed my phone and posted a tweet: ' anna cant stop listening to lorde's royals. how can i make it stop plsss x '

I read some of the replies but one caught my attention :

' @lordemusic : that must be very annoying x hahaaa '

My jaw drops before I pull out Anna's earphones, "Oi!" she complains.

"You will not believe who just mentioned me on twitter, Anna."

I showed her my phone as she read it aloud. "Holy fucking doughnuts,' she whispers to herself. "You lucky bastard!" 

I laugh before kissing her temple, "It's okay, babe. You'll get yours eventually." She sighs in frustration as she grabs my phone a clicked something. She gave it to me and I saw that she followed Lorde using my account. "Oi, you followed her."

"I did." she replied dryly, but smiling afterwards. 

We both chuckled but my phone rang and I saw the caller ID. 

Kendall was calling. 

I glanced at Anna for permission, she smiled and mouthed the words, "I trust you"

I smiled at her before getting up to go answer the call.

"Hey Kendall, what's up?'

"Hey Josh, I was wondering if you wanted to come over. My friend Jaden is throwing a party. I can come pick you up if you want. Pretty please?'

I paused before replying, "Uh yeah, okay. But let me ask Anna." I went over to Anna and told her, "Anna, Kendall invited me to a party, she's picking me up. Can I?"

I don't really like to party but something about tonight, makes me want to party.

Anna took a minute to reply before sighing, "Okay, Josh." 

"She says yes." I tell Kendall, who's on the other line.

Me and Anna chatted for a bit until we heard a car honking. "Josh, don't do anything stupid, please."

"I promise," I assured her and quickly gave her a peck on the lips. 

I arrived at the lobby where I saw a fancy car waiting for me, inside was Kendall. "Josh, come inside,' 

When we arrived at Jaden's house, people were everywhere. It made me nervous because the only people I knew was Kendall and Kylie. 

Maybe, Kendall sensed my tension and grabbed my hand, "Nothing to be nervous about, Josh. Come on, lets party!'
