The Apocalypse.
A very well-known theme in all media. Whether it's zombies or "prophesied" future disasters, everyone's heard, seen, and read about it.
This is the challenge: write a short or long story about the apocalypse. Original idea or fanfiction.
The Catch
No aliens, "prophesied" disasters, or zombies! Now that's where things get scary, tricky, and downright evil. I hear the riots already!
But don't despair, the above paragraph has a few subtle hints for ideas if you're having a hard time coming up with an apocalyptic theme.
