Chapter 15 ~ The Limelight (Part 2)

Continued as Manik.

Damn! I cursed. I should've informed her before going to that Mall. Cabir was right. Cabir's words echoed in my head, Manik, Just be careful. This Limelight can destroy everything, Again. I dialed Sneha's Number but this time, even her cellphone was switched off. God, What's Happening! By now, all my weight was transferred to My foot and Was completey blank. Completely. How can she Just disappear like that? Just when I was trying to figure out where she could be, My Cellphone beeped and it was a text message from Nandini which said, Manik, I'm fine. Don't Panic. Don't search for me, Just Relax. Come to the boutique, I'll be there in a bit. I sighed. I just can't tell how I felt, in that moment. I smiled breathlessly, sat in the Car and drove to the boutique in full speed. I just wanted to see her face, like right now.

On reaching the Boutique, I ran inside but the next thing I Saw, left me in a state of shock. "Cabir, tu?" I Said, giving him confusing looks.

"Manik," He Said as he moved closer to me, "Nandini ka kuch pata chala? Did you find her?"

Wait..what? Nothing was making sense. First, Nandini goes missing then I get a Text Message, that too from Nandini's number asking me to come to the boutique and now when I'm in the boutique, Cabir is standing infront of me.

"Tu yahan delhi mein kesay?" I questioned.

"Woh, I had an important event here. I called Nandini but her cellphone was switched off so I just came here."

"Wait a minute," I said pointing my finger towards him, "Tu Delhi aya or mujhe nahi, Nandini ko call ki?"

"Manik, this is not important. Yahan Nandini nahi milrahi hai and tujhe is ki pari hai ke meine pehle tujhe call kyu nahi ki, like what the hell man!?"

"She texted me!!" I shot back. "She asked me to come to the boutique!"

"Manik, this doesn't seem right. When did you see her last?" He looked scared.

"Yesterday." My heart sank into the stomach as I said that. I tried calling her but again, her cellphone was switched off. This was scaring the hell out of me!

Just when we were trying to figure out where she could be, My cellphone rang and it was a call from Sneha.

Manik, where are you?

At the Boutique, Why? Nandini ka kuch pata chala?

Yes, I'm sending you an adresss, reach here fast.

"Cabir, let's go." I said, pulling his hand.

The address she sent was at about 1 hour distance from the boutique and I had no clue what was happening but for me, nothing was more important than Nandini. As we reached there, I saw a board which said, "Look, the Monster is here! Go Straight and turn towards the right." I followed the directions and a card fell on me from somewhere.
