Zalia's PoV

"Hey look! It's the freak!" A boy called out near me. Why does this always happen? I heard footsteps coming towards me. Just ignore them Zalia; Like always. "Hey freak." The boy greeted. I kept looking at my lunch. "Look at him when he's talking to you devil child." Another boy commanded. I didn't obey.

Then they grabbed my ears and pulled my ears. I stifled my scream. "LOOK AT US BITCH!" A girl yelled. I obeyed this time and looked at them. "Good little devil." The girl said with a smirk. It was Jake, Lana, Lin and their possy. My normal bullies.

"What do you want?" I asked as calmly as I could. "Oh nothing~…Except this!" Lana yelled as she grabbed someone's lunch, dumped it on me and pushed me to the floor. I teared up as everyone started laughing. Then Jake and Lin started kicking me causing me to cry. "WIMP!" Lana yelled as she kept laughing. I can't take this bullshit.

I levitated Jake and Lin, threw them to the wall and ran. I didn't care about the massive amount of pain I was receiving or where I was going. I just wanted- no, needed  to get away from them. I fell to my knees and broke down, curling up into a tiny ball. After a few minutes of me bawling, I hear footsteps. "GO AWAY!" I yell. "I DONT WANT MORE PAIN!" They just kept coming.

"Are you okay?" A slightly high-pitched voice asked me. "NO OF COURSE NOT, NOW GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yelled and just kept dying and bawling my eyes out. "I just want my life to end..." I muttered.

I then felt arms wrap around me. "Please don't cry." He pleaded, voice cracking slightly. "Why should I? It's not like I matter anymore..." I replied. "You matter to me." He whispered. I looked at him. Dirty blonde hair, green eyes, freckles. Human. "I don't even know you. How do I matter to you?" I questioned, wiping some tears. "Because everyone matters." He answered.

"Everyone except me.I'm not pretty, smart or popular. I'm just an outcast. A freak." I said looking down. "Don't say that." The boy said, lifting my face so our eyes lock. "You're not a freak. You're beautiful, smart and talented. You're different. Different is good." He said, half-heartedly smiling. "Then why do I get made fun of because of it?" I asked. "Because they're just jealous." He responded. "Pfft, yeah right." I murmured.

"They're worst than you are and they want to be like you, unique and amazing." He added. I kept silent. "You shouldn't be disappointed of your differences, you should be embracing them." He kept on. "Who even are you?" I asked.

"My name is Jeffrey. Nice to meet you." He answered, smiling. I couldn't help but give him a small smile back.

"Zalia. Nice to meet you too Jeffrey."

~•The End•~

This is my first one-shot and I think it went well. I hope you enjoyed this. Zalia isn't actually depressed, only in this scenario she is. I kept thinking of this so I thought why not write it. If you want you can leave requests for prompts in the comments if you want.
