Taurtis's PoV

My head was hurting like all hell. I could hardly open my eyes and I felt like there was pressure being placed on all of me. I groan as I try to open my eyes. All I see is multiple different shades of blue. My eyes feel more refreshed than usual and I can't feel my legs. Wait. Why can't I feel my legs?! I sit up but immediately go back down, feeling a large shot of pain go through my everything.

"Ouchies.."

"Sorry, the transformation into a Siren hurts quite a bit. Your body is still reacting to the aftermath." said a familiar child-like voice. I look to my side and see a familiar looking brunette bunny boy looking at me with a soft smile. I think his name was... Sal? No, Samuel. Sam! That was his name! Sam snapped his fingers in my face. I blinked twice.

"You're awake now, right?" He asked. I nodded slightly, trying not ent...ante... trying not to hurt myself more.

I open my mouth to speak but it feels really full. As if I had a lot of water in my mouth. Wait, didn't Sam say something about turning into a siren? Am I underwater?! Holy cows! That explains all the blue! And that explains why I'm not drowning. Huh. Does that mean I can talk? Well, I did say ouch earlier...

"S-Sam..?" I said.

"What's up bud?" Sam responded.

"What happened to me?" I asked.

"You don't remember? You said you wanted to get rid of Dom so I turned you into a Siren so we can train." He answered. Huh. Wait.

"How... how did you turn me into a Siren?" I asked.

"I kissed you," Sam stated nonchalantly. wait WHAT. I immediately cover my mouth, blushing pri..proph... blushing a lot.

"You what?!" I yelled. Sam still had a calm, straight face.

"I kissed you. Do you not know what that means?" He replied, tilting his head like a confused puppy.

"Of course I know what that means!" I yell.

"Then why are you asking me what I did?" He responded. I uncovered my mouth, still shocked.

"It's just... Guys don't kiss other guys... It's weird..." I murmured. Sam looked kind of unfazed.

"Oh. Sorry. But it was the only way to turn you into a Siren." He apologized.

"It's...fine, I just need some time to get used to it. I guess," Sam just nodded and smiled lightly. I looked around the room I was in. It looked like a palace room. Or at least as far as my standards of palace goes. The entire room looked like it was made of sea coral. Bottle and charms floated around on strips of seaweed. In the corner, I saw a few things that looked similar to the stuff I had at home. Things to eat with, like forks and spoons and a knife, and some other random stuff, like bolts and books. Oh Gord, the books. Never reading again. I did like one story though. I think it had to do with a girl named Ariel? Meh, it was just a fairy tale.

"What type of room is this?" I asked. Sam perked up, his face going pinkish. Or getting darker blue. Whatevs.

"This is my room. I like collecting stuff from the human world. A lot," Sam boasted. "Dom used to bring me some stuff from his...hunts...and I always kept them since I liked human stuff. Thought they might come in useful someday." He stared at the things hanging around in his room, lost in his own thoughts. "I've always wanted to be part of their world..." I bit my lip. I never wanted to go back "home" but...
