Chapter 7: Skateboard lessons

Fiona's pov: Joji came in to our hotel room and said max was here to pick us up and I nodded following him to Max's car. When we get to Max's house Chad was out back with Ian and I decided to join them outside to see what they were doing only to see them messing around as usual. "Hey Fiona wanna see something radical?" Ian asks me while he stands on the skateboard, I cringed at the word radical but nodded to see what he wanted to show me. Ian then did a cool flip on his skateboard I didn't think he could pull off on the first try, "Ian you have to teach me how to do it I don't care how many times I fall please!" I ask excitedly and he agrees but only if I don't cry when I fall.

Ian's pov: I was pretty sure George's kid would eat shit plenty of times that she would eventually give up but I decided to give her a shot to see what she could do. I showed her easy ones first like turning the skateboard board while moving and doing an ollie then when she was ready I showed her how to do a kick flip and she fell off for the first time and she laughed a little bit but she did scrape her knee so Chad went to go get her a bandaid.

Joji's pov: I was talking to max when Chad came in and asked where the band aids were and Max said they ran out after filming gentlemen's guide. "Crap well do you have paper or something George's kid scraped her knee and needs a bandaid or something to cover it." Chad responded and I went outside to check on Fiona to see that she was fine just bleeding from her knee and I told her that Chad went to buy bandaids from Wal-Mart. My phone rings and it's Chad "What kind of bandaids does she want? they have toy story, emojis, or bacon bandaids." and I just told him to pick Toy story cause it honestly didn't matter what they had on the band aid she just needed it. Chad came back a couple minutes later and by then the cut was clean and stopped bleeding so he just chose a random one out of the box and slapped it on her knee causing her to flinch a little bit but she was fine and went back to skating.

Fiona's pov: I showed Joji what I could do so far on the board and he gave me a high five saying he wanted to see me do a flip by the time we go to the hotel so I kept practicing with Ian till I got the hang of it. I kept falling and I finally figured out how to flip when Ian left and he said "Oh yeah right I didn't see it try to do it again sport." And I tried to flip one more time and I did it he smiled and called over Joji so he could see that I finally learned how to flip on Ian's skateboard. "You did great Fiona proud of you." Joji complimented and rubbed my head a little bit causing me to laugh a little, by the time we left max's house I was covered in band aids even one on my cheek but it was all worth it because I made Joji proud.
