"I wanna fall inside your ghost.." I flicked the pen before I continued to write the lyrics "And fill up every hole inside my mind" Suddenly there was a knock on my window, I stopped writing and got up I opened the curtains and it was Prince standing there.
I unlocked the window "What are you doing here?" I asked, he completely ignored my question and got inside "What is that?" he said pointing at my still open notebook with the few lyrics I wrote "it's nothing" I said putting it under my pillow. Now, there was another silent pause until I heard him speak again "I'm sorry" "for what?" "for.. ignoring you" now it was me that stopped talking. "Look, if I'm annoying you, you tell me" he said as he was ready to leave, "no, you know it's not that.." he was waiting for me to keep going "what's been going on? you've been so distant lately, not just with me but everyone too.. I know when something's wrong and I-" "you should mind your own business" and he left. just like that.

The day after was just like another boring day at school. I got in detention for 'not doing my work' like they said, luckily the lady was nice enough to let us do what we wanted so I took my notebook out of my bag and wrote some more lyrics. It was raining that day and when I came back home my brother was worried sick because it was late than usual, "where were you?" "detention" was all I said. He did scold me that day but not too much. The same night I cried myself to sleep, didn't really know why, maybe from all the stress I had build up.
