Ariana's pov
"Are you ready to sing it?" Jonathan, my bodyguard asked me. I've just released my second album 'Unspoken Words' and I've already won x awards for album of the year. Taxi Cab on 1st position, was playing everywhere. I needed my bodyguard with me everytime now, paparazzis were everywhere I go, even admirers from country away knew about me. the world is an illusion. "I have to" I said walking to the stage, everybody was screaming. I was on my first world tour.
After I sang a few songs from my first and second album, I had to sing Taxi Cab. It was a very personal song to me, but now I was sharing it with the world, worry not, I was still happy. I played the notes on the piano, which turned out to be an intro, after a few minutes, I started to sing;

And fill up every hole inside my mind

So the hearse ran out of gas
A passenger person grabbed a map
And the driver inside it contrived a new route to save the past
And checked his watch and grabbed a cab
A beautifully plain taxi cab
A cab, had it cleared out back and two men started to unpack
Driving once again
But now this time there were three men
And then I heard one of them say,
"I know the night will turn to gray
I know the stars will start to fade
When all the darkness fades away
We had to steal him from his fate
So he could see another day"
Then I cracked open my box
Someone must have picked the lock
A little light revealed the spot
Where my fingernails had fought
Then I pushed it open more
Pushing up against the door
Then I sat up off the floor
And found the breath I was searching for
Then there were three men up front
All I saw were backs of heads
And then I asked, "Am I alive and well or am I dreaming dead?"
And then one turned around to say,
"We're driving toward the morning, son
Where all your blood is washed away
And all you did will be undone"
And I said, "Don't be afraid"
After the show
The show was done, and I also had an after show to do. It was only around 4am that I was back home, "You're arrived to destination, Mrs. Anderson" the limo's driver said, "thank you" I grinned. I was so not used to this yet.
When I unlocked the door, I got in and immediately took a shower, to wash the day off.
Just to be at ease, I put some pyjamas pants and a crop top on, I was writting another song idea until I heard the phone ringing. "Yes?" I put the phone to my ear, "hey.." just hearing his voice made me feel more alive. "What's up Prince?" I was sure he knew I was smiling from the other line.
"I miss you.. a lot.." he said a bit desperately, "I miss you too, baby..." I said joining him, "I just want to kiss you, and hold you so tight.. I'd even make love to you for hours, if you want.." he continued "I just want to be with you.. I can't make any decisions without thinking about you first" I chuckled a little "Prince.. that's not you speaking" I joked,
"No, I'm telling the truth baby.. I really am.. I'm-I'm so in love with you" I could hear the sadness in his voice, "I love you too-" "do you really?" he cut me off, his interrogation surprised me, "What? why would you ask such a question? Of course I love you" I truly said, "I know.. I'm sorry... I just need to hear you say it.." he whined, "I'm not even mad Prince.."
"When we'll be able to see each other?" he asked, "I'm on tour, Prince. I have a flight to Paris tomorrow.." I said playing with my nails. "Write me please.." he said, "I will baby" I uttered. "my little princess.." he said as we both laughed together, he's never called me that before.
"That's a new one.." I giggled "yes... you're a big superstar now" he mentioned, "awh, come on.." I insisted, "it's true.. my girlfriend's songs are playing everywhere, can you believe it?" he claimed making me laugh again. "I'm finding a hard time to believe it actually" "it's crazy, you're so close yet so far away from me.." he remarked.
