Heyyy   So I don't really know where to go from here....  but I may have an idea. I just don't know how to put it in but I may actually have an idea on how to do that too. Yeah I'll shut up now. Enjoy the chapter. And yes. I know this chapter is in Josh's pov. I just need it to be that way to work the story. I think. The picture is just one of my favorite sunsets from sadly my last track meet.

I have to give it to Cole. Aside from the ring, he gave absolutely no clue to living a double life. I just figured the ring was his parent's or grandparent's or something that was passed down or a keepsake. Not a wedding band. I don't really get how he was able to keep a relationship going when he lived with me and was in the Air Force. But now I get why whenever we'd be in danger or it was one of those lonely nights Cole would close his eyes and grab the ring tightly in his hands. Sometimes he would just hold it, others he would bring it up to his lips and whisper frantically under his breath.

I'll admit it hurts. It hurts to know he's been living this double life but now that the awkwardness and tension has disappeared I want to know a story. And most of all I want to get to know the gorgeous man sitting next to me. I think my best friend who knows me so well realized this.

"So Josh, Luke and Nate here really don't know all that much about you. I was waiting to tell them much for when you guys actually talked in person." Luke nods at this and sits up in his chair and grips his Charleston, another Delmar secret recipe masterpiece, and looks at me expectantly.

I shoot the eager and just really small guy a smile and say, "Well I hope you two know that this info won't be free. I charge info in return."

Nate let's out a chuckle at my statement and sips his cappuccino. "Deal. So let's hear it. What is the story of Josh Evart?" So I told them.

I told them the stories of my sister and I playing in the woods when we were little. Cole made me tell them about the time she pushed me into a huge anthill and I cried like a little bitch. The stories of all the old tales about the land and the animals in it my dad used to tell us and that my grandpa used to tell him. I told them how I never had met my grandparents and that I never heard anything about them. How they just weren't apart of my life and my parents refused to talk about it. I told them that I never was told anything about them anyways since my family died in a fire that was dubbed "mysterious" by police when I was 16. I told them about all the adventures Cole and I had in the military and when we were younger. And the best thing is they listened.

All the tension from earlier is completely gone. By the end of my life story we are all laughing with each other and having a good time.

Luke, Cole, and Nate start telling me things about the three of them growing up in a very tight knit community. I realized there were a lot of holes in what they were telling me but I didn't want to press them for more information. I have to remind myself to remember what Luke said about Nate telling me when he was ready to.

It is noon by the time we completely run out of stories to tell about each other. I learned more about how Cole kept a life completely hidden away from me. It was actually much more simple than what I assumed. He literally just lived it in the night and when I was gone at training or just gone in general. I know I should angry. Furious even. But I'm not. Cole is my best friend and I know he's still hiding a lot. But now that I've met the people who is in his other life, I'm not worried. I know he'll tell me at some point.

It's 12:30 when we decide to leave. We are leaving a tip when Luke abruptly stops and just looks at Nate and I. He then just smiles and winks. Nate and I look at each other and he has the most adorable look on his face. We look up when we hear the bell on the door ring violently and hear a car start in a hurry. Then I realize that the two bastards left us.

Cole and Luke literally ran out of the coffee shop to Cole's car and hauled ass to get out of the area. After a minute of just standing in silence I say without looking a Nate, "So do you wanna go see a movie or something?" He nods and utters a small "yep" and we then just laugh and walk out the door to his car. If those bastards want to leave us alone we'll make the most of it.

I'm really sorry this chapter sucks ass and is so freaking late. I've just been so busy with school, band, and basketball. I honestly just have no words to express how awful I feel about this chapter.
Love you guys and thanks for sticking with me
