The little bell at the top of the door rattled, making Joey's presence known. The florist looked up at his costumer from the cash register  and smiled warmly as he spoke.

"Hi, welcome to Gabriel's Flowers. My name is Gabriel, is there anything I can help you with?"  Joey looked around for a second before taking the employees/managers offer.

"Yeah, do you have any lotus flowers? Doesn't matter what kind, as long as they are lotus."

"I believe we have some purple Japanese lotuses in the back but let me check." Gabriel, said as he walked away. Joey waited for him to come back and as he did, he couldn't help but think about a certain someone.

"Do these satisfy you?" The employee asked the costumer as he held a bouquet of purple lotuses. Joey didn't know that there would be a variety of different types of routes flowers, but he was glad he saw these kind. Just one glance from them and he could almost see Cynthia's wonderful smile. Almost.

"Yeah, those will do." As the employee wrapped up the flowers, he couldn't help but notice that the customer was a little uneasy. So, he decided to go a little slower and started a conversation with the young man.

"Meeting up with someone special?" The manger asked his customer.

"Yeah, you could say that." They traded the flower for money and said their goodbyes. When Joey walked through the door, the pit of his stomach dropped like always when he visited Cynthia. It's been two years and she hasn't woken up yet. Taking out the old flowers and replaying then with the new ones he just got, he couldn't help but feel like this was his fault.

Kristina was already released a week after her daughter came out of the surgery. They were all waiting for her to wake up. To open those beautiful eyes of her's and give them her best smile that made them melt like putty in her hand. At least, that's how Joey felt anyways.

"Hey Cindy, sorry I haven't visited that much lately. I've been busy with work, and not the illegal kind." He chuckled before continuing. "Word around town is that the Intimidator died. I don't know how they got that idea but you should wake up soon and prove them wrong." He said as he sat down in the chair by her bed. He grabbed her hand in his as his vision became blurry. "I'm so so sorry, its all my fault. I should have been there to protect you, it should have been me in this bed. I should have token the bullet for you." Tears ignored his wish and rolled down his face. He sobbed into the bed as he hand never let go of hers. Next thing he knows, he cried himself to sleep.

When he woke up a couple of hours later, he wish he would wake up to see her staring at him with a smile. Thinking he was a goof ball to fall asleep while crying. But he wished wasn't granted. Her eyes were still closed and still in a coma. When he got home, his mom greeted him by the door. He only gave a quick response before hiding in his room.

His mother always hated it when her son would act like that. She liked it better when Cynthia would make Joey laugh when he got down on himself, just as he would do for her. He truly did love her, and it was killing him.

"I hope you wake up Cynthia. You don't know just how much you're missed." She whispered to herself as she started making dinner. Celeste was almost the same way. She hardly ever smiled anymore and she hardly ever eat. Of course Randy and Kristina did their very best to cheer them up but I guess that's something only Cynthia could do.

Brett, on the other hand, looked like her coma didn't affect him. But it did. He just didn't want anyone to know that someone other than his family actually got to him in such a short time. He became more harsh and cold hearted after Cynthia went into the coma. Kathy did her best to cheer up her favorite cousin, but that's easier said than done.

At school, word got around that Cynthia went into a coma and Ricky, or otherwise known as Brandon, quite his job. That made things suspicious. Some of the students and teachers even made a memorial at their school in hopes of their prayers waking her up. She didn't know it, but she touched the hearts of a lot of people.

The next day, they received a call. They were at the hospital in a blink of an eye and bursted into the room without another thought. There, laying on the bed, was Cynthia. But her eyes were open. Well, more like one, the other had an eye patch on it.  She was talking to Doctor Karev before she noticed five people standing by the door. They all hugged her the instant she smiled at them. They all cried out about how much they missed her and how they waited for this day to come.

However, they noticed that she wasn't hugging them back. In fact, she was as stiff as a wall. Confusion swirled in her eyes as she looked at all of them.

"What's the matter Cynthia?" Celeste asked.

"Guys, I have to talk to you." Doctor Karev stated. They looked at him before looking back at Cynthia. Before anyone else could say a single word about the situation. Cynthia spoke to them with a soft voice. What she said rocked them all to their core.

"Who are you guys?"
