Chapter 17

I was looking out through the window when I heard someone banging the front door. I gasped in shock and tried to move but that only worsened my pain.

"Yoon Hee!  Open the door!" I heard a familiar voice shouting me from down.

"Wait a second!"

Recognizing that the voice is from no one other than Taehyung, I grabbed the keys that were on the near by table and threw it out of the window.

"Yah! Why did you throw it into a bush??"

He shouted coming near to my room from outside.

"I can't move you know!". I shouted back still trying to manage my ankle's pain. He mumbled something while finding the keys.

"Gurllll where did you throw it?? I can't find it!!!"

After some minutes of finding it, he complained. I bit my bottom lip in frustrate, cluelessly looking around.

"Found it!!". He exclaimed excitedly after finding the keys which made me sigh in relief.

"I'm coming"

After some seconds, he said before turn the door knob of my door. He appeared in front of me with a yellow and blue plaid shirt and a denim trouser while his backpack, slinging on his right shoulder. I quickly wiped my face in case of if I have tears on my cheeks.

"Look at your face!! It looks like a shaddock!"

He said sitting on the edge of my bed and put his bag on his lap. I said nothing but stay quiet as I was hiccuping for crying for hours.

"Here, I bought some cupcakes for you". He said softly taking out a small and colorful cardboard box from his backpack. Damn! It's one of my favourites!! I wonder how does he know that I love cupcakes. I gulped hearing that delicious word, instantly. I took the box from him and opened it, which revealed three cupcakes, invading their smell all over my room. 

One had a baby pink rose flower with three green leaves side by. The other one had a cute white kitten with a pink bow tie around it's neck. That was really too cute to be eaten. I felt like I should keep it in a museum. The last one was a puffy red heart with a purple butterfly knot around it. It had written "I love you" below the knot. Seeing the cupcakes, my mouth formed a smile, forgetting my pain.

"Thank you" I almost whispered admiring the cupcakes.

"No problem". He said from his usual deep voice, standing up from my bed and walking towards the window.

"How can I eat them peacefully when they are too cute to be eaten?"

I whined still admiring the cuteness of them, not being able to fix my mind to eat them. Then he came towards me and took the cupcake which had the rose flower. Before even I make mind, he bit a big bite of it.

"Like this. That's how to eat a cupcake".

He retorted, in between the bites, making my jaw drop in shock. I shifted my gaze towards the other cupcakes again. I felt pity for that cupcake he ate just now. My hand refused to work when I tried to move it to bring a cupcake to my mouth. I heard Taehyung, sigh before come to me and press a cupcake into my mouth that I almost ate a half of it. I had no choice but to take out the other half of it. It was the cutest cupcake I was planning to put in my museum. My mouth crumpled seeing my kitten without it's head. Taehyung walked out of my room to downstairs.

Surprisingly, the cupcake was super delicious that I sequeled with the feelings of sweetness. A sudden moan came out while my eyes automatically shut making me enjoy the taste even more. I opened my eyes after swallowing it. I saw a jaw dropped Taehyung, looking at me with a glass of water in his right hand. Frozen.

I froze in my spot realizing what I just did. He gulped before walk to me and give me the glass. I was about to take it but then suddenly he pulled it back not letting me to take a hold of it. I knitted my brows in annoy with a grumpy mood.

"Do it again. Then I'll let you drink this"

He almost whispered seductively leaning his head towards my ear. His signature smirk indeed gave shiver down my spine.

"What?? I'm thirsty!! Just give me the glass"

I said trying reach my hand out to take the glass from him but he pulled it up even more, smirking. Just then the pain started to flinch me since I tried to stand. My face converted into a choked cashew as I couldn't bear it.

"Shit are you alright??". Taehyung asked me in a rushing tone giving me the glass of water. I took it and gulped in one go. He sat on the edge of my bed looking at me worried.

"Just wanted to cheer you up I didn't mean to hurt you"

He said ducking down his head sadly like he was about to cry.

"I know !diot" I hitt his arm playfully, showing him a weak smile. He looked at me with a huge wide grin, smiling cheekily at me. I pursed my lips together to stop myself from laughing. My eyes landed on the last cupcake which had the red puffy heart.

"I love you" I read the sentence that had written on the heart below the butterfly knot, earning his attention.

"I love you too darling 😂"

Taehyung started to get on my nerves again with a playful grin.

"Oh my god shut the hell up!" I annoyingly hit him with a pillow that he walked away from my bed laughing so badly. I cringed so badly at what he said back ughh.

"Okay okay 😂🙏" He finally surrendered still laughing like an idiot. Then he again came near my bed to have a seat beside me.
I then separated the cupcake into two pieces handing him one of them.

"I'm not hungry, you can have it"

He said softly beaming me a smile but I shoved it in his palm and was about to eat mine when suddenly he snatched mine and placed his one on my palm.

"What?". I asked in disbelief trying to read his face.

"Nothing". He retorted before put it in his mouth. The thing I saw when I looked at my exchanged cake that he had given me the piece which had "I love you" on it. All he did was avoiding my gaze after that incident.

"Yoon Hee~I'm home"
