The dinner bell sounded, and everyone stood up. I saw T.B. go into the kitchen, so I decided to follow her. I walked over to the double doors and pushed my way through, knocking over several plates. These plates proceeded to hit the ground, and shatter into several pieces. I quickly left the scene in search for T.B.. I saw her hair disappear through an exit door, and I quickly scampered after her. I walked outside the doors to find her standing next to two bmx bikes. I slung my duffle over my shoulder and walked to her.
"Hey shard," she said. "Get on one of these and follow me." And with that she hoped on a bike and took off. I quickly managed to sling myself onto a bike, and I rode after her. I had to pedal quickly to keep up as she flew over the hills and valleys on the dirt path. I finally was able to catch up with her, and panting I asked,"Why so fast?"
"You call this fast?" She said
"Oh, never mind. But where are we going?"
"Uh, to the namer."
"Well I knew that, but where is he at?"
"Bike next to me...NOW!"
"Okay!" I said shocked
No sooner had I driven next to her, when she pressed a button on her helmet. "See that rock pile on the side of the road, drive into it," she said.
"WHAT!" I said.
"Don't question, just drive." She said as she started to veer to the rocks, and began to speed up. I started pedaling faster after her.
All of the sudden, she veered headfirst into the pile of rocks, and disappeared. I was so shocked that I forgot I was biking. I suddenly lost control and went tumbling along the ground towards the pile of rocks. Just as I braced myself for impact, I felt nothing, no rocks, no grass, nothing. At least for a little bit, then I slammed my side straight into a hard, metal ramp. I was tumbling fast down the ramp, when I started to slow down. I was on flat ground. However, I was still tumbling, and now I had rolled onto hard metal bumps on the ground.
I was incredibly bruised when I finally got stopped. T.B. Had kicked me so hard, that it stopped my rolling. I sheepishly stood up, and readjusted my bag.
"Watch out," she said backing away.
And before I had time to ask what she meant, I was taken out by my bike. This caused me to land hard on my head, leaving a huge bruise on my temple. "Ohhhhhhhh," I moaned.
"Stop whining," she said. "You'll get over it. Right now, follow me." And with that, she walked through a doorway that I didn't even know was there. I quickly scampered after her, struggling to keep up with her fast pace of walking. Of course, I also had to carry a giant duffle, and that didn't help with speed. I jogged next to her as she strolled down the short hallway and stopped at a large double door.
"Well shard, it's all up to you now." She said.
