Kyle awoke to the sound of beeping, and knew he was in a hospital. He sat up and tried to get out of the bed, but realized he was handcuffed to the one side. He looked around the room, and noticed Alivia sitting in a plastic chair in the corner, also handcuffed. She waved to him, more of a sarcastic wave then anything. "Where are Skylar and Andre?" Kyle asked, his head hurting from a concussion.
"I'm fine thanks, for asking. They are right next door. We have been talking through the vent for the past half hour. Our parents will be here to pick us up soon." Alivia told him. "Hi Kyle!" Skylar shouted through the vent, and they could hear Andre groan. "I don't even know how we are related." He said, which earned a laugh from Alivia.
"Why are we handcuffed?" Kyle said, but before Alivia could answer Skylar beat her to it.
"Apparently one of us matches the description of the robbery to the school last night. They won't tell us who though." Skylar said. "Well, we were all there, so we need our parents to hurry up." Kyle said, and at that moment, Nate and Sophie Ford burst through the door. "Are you okay, Kyle? We have been worried sick about you," Sophie exclaimed, while they both hugged Kyle. "I'm fine, really, it's okay." Kyle said, when suddenly, they heard what sounded like rats through the vents. They then heard Skylar and Andre's door to the room, and heard someone drop to the floor. "Babe, I keep telling you that you can't crawl through the vents or you'll get arrested.", Alec Hardison said to his wife Parker Hardison. "Are you two okay?" Parker asked, but was suprised when they heard Nate and Sophie right in the other room. "Nate? Sophie? What are you guys doing here?" Hardison asked, but before they could answer, Eliot Spencer ran into the room, but stopped when he saw Nate and Sophie. They looked at him, then said, "We came to pick up our son, what are you three doing here?"
"The same thing as you," Eliot answered. He walked over to Alivia and silently started talking to her. They couldn't make out what he was saying, so they didn't even try to hear.
"We are gonna get you guys out of here, okay? Just hang tight." Nate said, and then he and Sophie headed out, and Kyle heard Hardison and Parker doing the same thing. Eliot was the only one who stayed, continuing to talk to Alivia. This time, Kyle could hear them.
"Sweetheart, why did you go to the park? You never go to the park, especially not with other people," Eliot said, and that's when Alivia told him the whole story of what they did, while Eliot sat and listened. When she was finished, Eliot looked at Kyle, smiled, and looked back at Alivia. He handed her the key to the handcuffs, which surprised Kyle.
How on earth did he get those? He thought, but by then Alivia had walked over to him and unlocked his. All three of them walked into Skylar and Andre's room and did the same thing. They all walked out, where the rest were waiting for them. They all ran out the back door, and ran into Lucille.
"I haven't been in Lucille for a while." Sophie said, smiling. This brought back good memories for all of them, and they sighed thinking about it. As they silently drove, Nate said something they were not expecting:
"If you are going to continue the con, at least include Lexi."
"What's a Lexi?" Alivia asked, and both Kyle and Nate smiled.
Of course it reminded Nate of Eliot.
