"Ly!" Lily screams out from across the hall to me, making the students part way for her to march over to me. I sigh and slam my locker shut, making the people around me jump. I ready myself for whatever she has to say and turn to be suddenly embraced by her small body. She had ran and jumped on me. I sighed once more before settling her back on her feet and dusting myself off. She giggles and brushes her silky blonde hair behind her ear, "Sorry for that."
I nod, "Um, It's fine." I say awkwardly and shift on my long legs. Her big blue eyes speckled with grey shone excitedly and I smiled at her.
"So?" She beckons.
"Hm?" I ask, I knew she had something to tell me.
"IjustgotaskedoutbyJackandsaidyesandhetoldmethathisbrotherhasathingforyou!" She shouts quickly and I sigh, "What?"
She laughs and repeats herself, "I just got asked out by Jack. I said yes, then he told me that his brother has a thing for you." She finishes and spells everything out slowly, like I was dumb.
"Oh." I reply bluntly.
"Oh?" She asks,
"Oh." I confirm.
"Boring." She states and walks off as the bell rings.

I swing my jacket off my shoulder and onto the chair next to... bleurgh. Next to Mason. Jack's brother. Again, bleurgh. He throws me a side glance and I sigh.
"Do you want something, Mason." His tongue rolls off my tongue in and unnatural and detesting way, and he noticed it.
"Yes." He replies and looks at me expectantly, I let a small sigh escape my lips and I smile.
"Well, whatever it is, I can't give it to you- or want to give it to you." I say curtly and grab my jacket then move three rows ahead and settle into the lesson. Someone laughs behind me when I sit down and let out a thankful sigh. I turn my head to the voice. A guy sits behind me, he has tousled dark hair and liquid brown eyes with specks of gold in them. He stares back intently into my shining hazel eyes and a smile replaces his serious face. I smile ever so slightly back at him and he winks at me before I raise my eyebrows at him and turn around to the class.
The class ended when the bell rang, and I lunged myself out of my seat happily and marched out the room to the school gates- free period.
Shutting my car door tight, I fidgeted in my seat before grabbing my phone and putting some music on. I hummed to the beat as I drove smoothly out the school and watched the student stare at me with envy- only us seniors are allowed free period at my school- I smile at some of them mockingly and drive away from school and into the food part of town. I slide into a car park in Bettie Bots Ice Cream Shop and slam the door shut in excitement when I exit the car.
I enter the ice-cream parlour in a fast paced skip and silently clap my hands when I see no line. I trot towards the person behind the counter, Abigail. "Hey Abi!" I speak to her happily and she hands me an apron with the shop logo on it. I slip it on quickly, "Hi!" She replies, "The usual?" She asks and I nod. She begins piling in my favorite fudge chocolate chocolate into a cone and I grin, this was the usual; me coming here in free period, eating my favorite, then doing my shift.
"Here you go!" Abigail hands me the cone and I bite into the frozen cream. That was how I ate ice cream, "Again.. No price, it's your discount!" She says happily and grabs her own cone and piles delecious frozen contents into it. I smile as we grab an empty booth in the back.
"So..." I speak up randomly when I finish crunching on my cone.
"So...?" She mumbles under her breath.
"Whats going on?" I gossip in a girlsy voice and she laughs quietly, "What are you hinting at?" She asks and I shake my head.
"Honestly, I don't know.. Have you got any gossip to tell?" I mumble awkwardly to her and push a rebelling hair behind my ear. Abi smiles at me curiously, ""Well... I heard that Mason likes me today. Mason Hargraves." She says and I grimace then realisation hits me.
"Mason.. At my school?" I ask and grit my teeth together,
"Uh.. I think.. Yes." She says.
"Do.. you wanna beat someone up.... Girl style?" I choke out and she hums slightly then nods her head.
"Ok.. But you have your shift." She mentions and I sigh, "Oh, after then." I adjust my apron and get to work at the counter.

"Let's get moving!" I shout to Abi and switch around the 'open' sign to 'closed', walking over to Abigail I take my apron off and swing it onto a hook behind the counter. I nod to Abi and she returns the favor, and we walk out the shop, locking it behind us.
I swiftly shut the car door, behind me Abigail follows prompt and copies my movement.
"So. What exactly are we doing?" Abigail questions as I turn a sharp corner to the school for the last time today. "Beating up Mason." I reply calmly, "He said he liked me, and he likes you, and he has a girlfriend, so trust me when I say, he deserves it." I turn another corner and she gasps. "What a douchebag!" Abigail exclaims and frails her arms in the air but stop with a groan when I turn another corner and her funny bone hits the window viciously.
"Ouch." I comment and snicker under my breath.
"Hey! We're supposed to be in a team! Remember!" She exclaims without flailing her arms around.
"That doesn't mean I can't laugh at you," I say, "Besides, It was really quite funny." I reply and ease into my seat, turning into the school gates. This was gonna be quite fun soon.
