Adhara pulled her hand back with a breath in, she let her knife go with a breath out and watched it fly. With a quick thap the throwing knife landed on the outermost ring of the bullseyes. The dark haired girl let out a sigh and picked up another knife, she worked very hard to be good at a lot of different weapons, but she was always pretty bad at knife throwing. She let two more knives fly and pulled back another in a ready stance.
"You're holding them wrong," She heard a voice behind her and whipped her head around with a knife poised at who was behind her.
"Oh," she breathed out and brought down the knife. "It's just you Akagi."
"You're also standing the wrong way," he pointed at her feet. "Put one foot out in front out of the other and have them shoulder width apart," He explained to the daughter of Nemesis.
Adhara frowned slightly, and turned back to the targets. She did what he said and held the knife with her new stance.
She brought her arm back and was about to let it fly, but Mark yelled. "WAIT!! Your grip is way off and your stance is still kind of wrong."
"Then get up and teach me if you're going to be so picky," she quipped.
Mark pushed himself up from the floor and wraps his hands around his waist. He turned her hips out and moved closer to her to fix her hand on the knife. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest and her cheeks flamed. He moved away from her and grinned, Adhara thought it was because her newly corrected stance...it wasn't.
Adhara stuttered out a thank you and Mark's grin widened. She realized why he was grinning so big a couple of seconds later and narrowed her eyes slightly at the boy, her cheeks still flaming. "You can stop enjoying this so much."
Mark's grin widened and Adhara swore under her breath in a language Mark didn't understand. "Why did I let you help me?" Ahara muttered, back in English.
"Because you loooooooove me," Mark teased.
Adhara whacked him upside the head and threw the knife in her hand, it landed in the center of the target. "Looks like I don't need your help after all," she smirked at the boy and threw two more with her new stance and grip, both the knives landing in the center target.
"Okay, okay," Mark threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Wanna get lunch?"
Adhara was surprised at the quick subject change and raised her eyebrow in questioning, but after a couple of seconds responded with a shrug and a, "sure why not?"
She put the knives back where they belonged and walked with Mark to lunch.
